York Board of Appeals to revisit Gammon Lawn Care property dispute

YORK, Maine — A full eight months after the Maine Supreme Judicial Court sent a long-running land use dispute back to the town for further proceedings, the York zoning Board of Appeals is slated to consider the matter again this Wednesday.
The BOA will discuss the court's remand related to Gammon Lawn Care's operations at 650 York St., according to a meeting agenda released Friday. The meeting will be held via Zoom video conference due to the pandemic.
No public comment will be allowed related to the Gammon property dispute since this matter was remanded by the court, the agenda states. "That's just how remands are," BOA Acting Chair Joe Carr said Friday.
