Reporter Philadelphia Police say a 34yearold man theyve withheld his identity was leaving work at harbison and benner around 11 30 sunday night he was jumped by three men who zip typed his hands behind his back, through him into the back of his 2006 pontiac and drove him around the city. We did learn that a Family Member did begin to receive messages from our victims phone from the people that abducted him demanding 10,000. This went on for at least five hours. Reporter around 5 40am the pontiac was spotted on westford road where his attackers doused him gasoline and set him on fire. A neighbor told our dave kinchen the man was able to cry out. His hands was tied and he was kidnappers was trying to kill him. I was 65 scared. Reporter victims was rushed by ambulance to temple hospital with second and third degree burns to the lower half of his body. Around midday a police tow squad arrived to remove the charred pontiac from the road as neighbors reflected on the horrible scene that shattered their sleep and their sense of safety.
