Police say it happened twice in just two days, and they believe its the same guy behind both of those attempt the kidnappings. Our Chris Oconnell is live in bethlehem. Chris . Reporter thats right, lucy. Police here in bethlehem think it is one man who is creeping on young women and trying to get them into his car. Its happened at least three times in the last three weeks. A man driving around the city of bethlehem preying on young women and police want to catch this guy before he tries to snatch his next victim. Honestly i dont even want to really walk home. Its kind of scary because we just like just moved here last week. Reporter women like lauren on the 900 block, in bethlehem are still shaken. They are still trying to process what happened on their block when an 18yearold moravanian College Student became the victim of the citys latest kidnapping attempt. She was right down the street and she was really scared and ran into one of our friend that is lives down the street. Reporter police say a man grabbed the arm of a woman and asked where she was going. When the victim started screaming, he took off in a blue colored four door sedan. Its creepy. Yeah, its makes me uncomfortable. Reporter just last week, a student at Liberty High School was approached by a man again driving a blue sedan near the intersection of fairview and pine streets. After a brief conversation the man drove off when the student took out her cell phone and a week earlier police think the same man was exposing himself in a hospital parking lot. Used to walk without a care in the world and sometimes we dont lock our doors before we go to bed well double check. Women in bethlehem some concerned enough to stay anonymous say the incidents have them changing their daily routines. Like walking in packs and keeping their lights on all night long. I dont wanting to get pizza any more i dont want to be by myself. Reporter police dont have great description of this guy. Only to say hes a medium to heavy built africanamerican male driving a light blew older model sedan. Now, police say theyre also looking to this guy for potential similar crimes dating back to the summertime. If you know any information on this man, please call bethlehem police. People talk to me when he was a little guy growing up and wanting to play baseball about how he had such a gifted arm, and he it was such a tremendous thing that this was given to him. Best of all, i still get to see him every day because i look at you. But what you cant google is his heart, his grace, his kindness, his caring for others, his generosity or his love for his family. Reporter iain, this incident is absolutely horrific. We know that mother was driven to einstein hospital where she is being treated. She was due to have this baby tomorrow according to police. Meantime, investigators are interviewing the suspected shooter at northeast detectives where we are now. Have a fouryearold sleeping in that window so i mean just as ooze are easy it could have escalated outside went through my window. Reporter a moment for miss left for maggie had learned her neighbor was shot on the 1500 block of rows sally in northeast philadelphia. Investigators say the victim is nine months pregnant had a bullet go through both legs. Couldnt imagine that baby. I just couldnt imagine. I mean, you know, when i was pregnant how scary it could be. Anything happening. Reporter Philadelphia Police searched the home of the 43yearold woman who they say pulled a gun and shot the pregnant woman who was set to give birth tomorrow according to northeast detectives. This could have been a lot worse if this shooting, the bullet didnt strike her in the legs, um, it could have been a lot worse. Reporter shooter lives directly next door to the victim and while the moat motive is unclear, cops say theyre familiar with several arguments that have taken place in recent weeks and neighbors have notic noticed. I live right across the industry. In the past month ive seen the police out here on multiple occasions for domestic disputes. Reporter investigators tell us the victim is in stable condition and they say at this point it does not appear the shooting affected the pregnancy again we were told that the woman was due to give birth tomorrow. We dont know if shes given birth yet. We can also tell you police found surveillance cameras at some point they will look through some video and they did recover the weapon as well. Back to you. Our prayers for her and her baby. Thank you much, dave. Excitement of the unwanted kind at a Philadelphia School went on lock down for hours this afternoon of a report of a child with a gun. Police never found a weapon. Skyfox over Woodrow Wilson middle school in northeast felly around 2 00 p. M. Police tell us they arrested someone. They sent k9 units not building to search again. But again, came up empty handed. In california, Authorities Say a gunman killed four people and wounded at least nine others including children before police shot him. Investigators say he started picking targets around Corning Union Elementary School on the rancho, reserve 130 miles north of sacramento. Authorities say one of the victims was a neighbor. The gunman had been accused of assaulting baaing in january. Who now had a restraining order. Upper darby Police Arrest add doctor for two counts of indecent assault. Two women have come forward accusing the 82yearold doctor of inappropriate behavior. Now investigators are asking could he have more victims. Fox 29s Dave Schratwieser live in upper darby now. Dave . Reporter lucy police tell us those two female patients went running from the Doctors Office and called police that touched off a threemonth long investigation. Today the doctor was charged and tonight he is free on bail. I get my physicals there. Reporter this woman wasnt surprised tuesday when she found out her doctor across the street had the long lane Medical Center was charged with two counts of indecent assault on his patien patients. I just thought it was just me. So i used to come back and say im uncomfortable. Reporter folk has been going to the 82yearold doctor for five years. Mostly because his office is close by. She says she thought about notifying authorities about his behavior but was concerned no one would believe her. You never know theres other people. How could you prove it . During the course of the examination, he proceeds to put his hands up her blouse. Reporter police say the elderly physician indecently assaulted a 25yearold woman in september and a 52yearold woman earlier this month. Both times allegedly fondling them during a physical examination. Whispers in her ear i like this. She panics and pushes him and runs out. We have a lot of people go to the doctor sick and to have stuff like that happen its not a good look for city, community or in that profession period. Reporter William Lange lives two cars doors away from the clinic. He was surprised by the allegations. Police say the doctor runs a second clinic here on front street in north philadelphia. Investigators are concerned there could be other victims. Were hoping that if theres other victims out there they come forward. I seen how much hes aged just that quick in the last few years. Reporter now the doctor posted 10 of the 50,000 bail and walked free. His lawyer tells me tonight he is innocent of the charges. A new jersey man was high on oxycodone when he crashed his car and allegedly killed his twoyearold son last month according to new toxicology reports. Christopher kuhn Hamilton Township charged with murder ran a red light on route 213 in tullytown. His son was not buckled in and was ejected. Instead of helping the borane from the scene much hes now in jail and scheduled for arraignment on december 15th. The blame for a deadly crash falls squarely on amtrak shoulders. So says the National Transportation safety board. The 19 month old long investigation into what played out on tracks near chester blames amtraks weak Company Culture for safety. A sheet was held up as the body of the applebees shooting victim was removed. Somebody walked in last night at 12 25, shot this person in the head seated at the bar and walk out. Yeah. Reporter Mercer County prosecutor arrived to say Lawrence Township police found the victim, 23yearold devin smith, suffering from a head wound at the bar. The suspect is described as a black male in his mid 20s. He exited the applebees and entered a darkcolored suv. Im in delaware where a potential new rule for Public School students regarding transgenders is causing a bit of a flap. My take is, these are the kind of conversations we have to have painful as they may be for some. Under the new rule schools are asked to consider students input when notifying parents of a childs gender identification. Thats whats been the point of conflict. Lisa goodman of equality delaware says parents are usually sympathetic. But there are some parents who are not that way. And contacting those parents might present a grave danger to those students. And this regulation simply recognizes that and says that schools should consider that factor before they contact parents. Reporter the rules under review until december 4th it wont be voted on in the state house the governor has to okay it. I thought about as i drove to south delaware to visit delaware representative rich collins a republican who opposes the rule as written. My main concern is legal. The General Assembly has never authorized this type of action. Specifically, weve never put the word gender identity into the code that applies to schools even though we have for other parts of state law. Reporter collins interprets the rule as leaving parents out of the picture regarding kids gender identity in school. But hes also worried about chaos from class clowns. It gives them endless opportunities, for example, going in and changing their gender every friday or something crazy like that. There are also many, many Unanswered Questions like how many times can you do it . There are no limits. Report roar lisa goodman calls that speculation asinine. They had few answers for the homeowner and thats the Complaint Pipeline critics have heard over and over since this work began months ago. Thats kind of what people are feeling like hopeless. Like theres no theres no way they can stop this thing, and they have no control in their own on their own property or in their own land. Reporter reached by email a sunoco spokesman said the sink hole and mudslide were inadvertently caused by the horizontal drilling theyre doing in this area. They said this backyard will be fully restored and the drilling will resume upon permission of the state department of environmental protection. She lives in cinnaminson where police are investigating several incidents of hate graffiti that showed up around the township and near the palmyra extension area. I grew up in the area from like four years old and its very surprising. Charles Street School in nearby palmyra was also targeted. Definitely dont expect it especially now a days but i know racial tensions have been on the rise in recent history. That type of graffiti i dont like but i do like street art graffiti but that is unacceptable. They say he plotted to sell drugs, seized during Police Operations in baltimore. His former department. Prosecutors say officer eric snells arrest makes him the ninth officer indicted from the baltimore polices Gun Trace Task force. Philadelphia police say the department has suspended snell with inn at the present time to dismiss him. State police Newark Police report that two instances tuesday of a man calling daycare facilities saying that hes found a lost child from that facility. Then police say he tries to get personal information. They say once daycare staff start asking him questions he hangs up both. Faith facilities called right away. Saved from hurricane down south. The inmates say its giving them new hope new jersey woman facing ten years in prison pleading guilty in drunken crash with a Police Officer nearly two years ago. Angela feaster of sewell, new jersey, admitted to the assault along with another charge of endangering the welfare of a child. Officer clifford, had spinal and four arm fractures from that accident in Franklin Township in objection of 2015. She will will be zen certain tensed in january. The Pennsylvania Department of corrections has a Dog Training Program and all but one of its facilities not just saving the lives of shelter dogs. Its shaping the lives of the inmates who train them. You must have been excite. It was. It was definitely because it was definitely different. Living within a cell with another inmate an dog. 24 7 the dogs in this program get constant attention. Care and training. They even sleep in the inmates cells which bring up a question. If youre in your cell and somebody needs to take a potty break what happens here . We go and tell the officer. We give our id he lets us out the back door you. Get to go out. Yeah. Where else are they going to get, you know, oneonone, 24 7 training to learn basic rules and manners and tricks and things like that. Sit. Good boy. Excellent. Wagons rescue partners with sci chester. Our trainer comes in once a week and goes over things and the dogs have to learn theres criteria they have to learn certain things every week. She was emptied out of the shelter in anticipation of a hurricane at six weeks old. These puppies faced death down south but theyre alive because the inmates here asked if they can help. The prison staff said yes and doubled up on the dogs. Shes a working dog. She is. She is. Shes part of the laundry department. [ laughter ] does she fold, too. We gotten her that far yet. She likes to unfold, though. Puppies are a bonus. Usually these guys who themselves are looking for a Second Chance in life are given exactly that to shelter dogs that had a rough start. He was skiddish, can be get along with the other dogs and look at him now much hes a great dog that can walk without a leash. Some of the dogs come here and you figure theyre incorrigible after few weeks with us they turn into nice dogs. They arrive one way and leave another ready for their new life. Kind of the overall goal of this place encased in razor wire and the Dog Training Program lends an intangible yet powerful component to this mission which allows us to model that behavior that we expect from them. We expect kindsness. We expect respect. Thats what the dogs are given. That is what is received from them and thats what the inmates show. The dog is a reflection of what we teach them.
