It is first well have little more heat and humidity still little low tomorrow but that all changes here coming up tuesday, wednesday and thursday. Maybe not quiet as hot but even more humid. So little bit of both here this coming week. 93 today. Day number two. Tomorrow will be our heat wave. Easily climbing into the mid to upper 90s still at 80 degrees right now. So still very warm out there. Right along 95 temperatures still upper 70s lower 80s cooled off a bit in the surrounding suburbs especially down the shore. Nice comfortable sea breeze gave us some relief there. Look at these numbers coming in now. Mid to low 70s nice and cooler there. That wind coming in off the ocean drops the temperatures quickly thats where you want to go to beat the heat especially tomorrow. Still right at 80 in philadelphia. Mid 70s in the north and western suburbs. Airport shot that haze starting to come in. The heat wave continues. We have air k. Quality alert talk about humidity increasing plus more storms see if that gives us any relief from the heat in the seven day forecast coming up later. Dave, look forward it to. A sea of people in Atlantic City tonight. Tens of thousands of fans hit the sand for a concert on the beach. Skyfox over the crowd as the headline are in maroon five took the stage. Fox 29s brad sattin is live in Atlantic City. So, brad, high hopes this concert will give the struggling city a boost. Reporter well it sure did last year couple concerts last year over the summer brought in about 120,000 people. So figured why not do it again . Couple big acts. Nick joan mass marine five were actually on the stage behind me although its kind of loud here the stage is quiet right now. Now theyre gearing up actually for a second concert later in the week. The boardwalk jam packed earlier today along with the beaches and the hope is that people will rediscover Atlantic City. If traffic getting into Atlantic City was any indication of beach concert was going to be a big draw, and boy was it. Reporter nick jonas followed by maroon five. Performing for a crowd of 50,000 paid admission to watch from the beach. Others peeking through the green covered fencing partially torn down along the very crowded boardwalk hoping for free show it was not without issues though medical it got hot and logistical. Some fans leaving early angry they paid 100 for preferred seating and turned away or worse. It got so hot. People were push, throwing up. It was awful. Very ill planned. No way to get through. People who are supposed to look at you pointing at your band going sorry we were liter literally smashed in a crowd of people behind the fence we were supposed to be allowed to cross. He turned in sylvester street and somehow ended outpatient an sidewalk where he hit the little girl. Police say he kept going hitting three park cars. Edwards ran away but they did catch him. The sixyearold girl has broken bones but Officials Say she should be okay. Going to be another tough few days for firefighters as our heat wave continues. Developing to night rescuers found a wreckage of a missing airliner crews had been searching for the missing plane all day after villagers saw that plane crash in to mountain knew the province of papa what. 54 people were on board when it disappeared during a short flight in bad weather. Three people in the basket were shock. A 48yearold woman is in critical condition. The pilot and another passenger are stable. Small plane head morristown goes down into long island bur bursting into flames. Witnesses describe a wild scene the moments before the crash. The pilot was killed but foxs lisa evers explains it could have been much worse. Reporter the ntsb tells meet single engine beach craft 35 plane was at about 6500 feet when the pilot radioed air Traffic Control and told him he was having engine problems. And needed to return to the westampton weve airport. Plane then suddenly lost altitude. Humidity comes up not quiet as hot. Still feels just as uncomfortable. Any type of shower well take it to give us relief from the heat. Nothing real toll night a few showers in north jersey push to the south. Maybe a sprinkle or two there in this area but its all begins to clear out after midnight tonight. By the time you wake up tomorrow morning looking at more sunshine but maybe one or two isolated showers each day well see little more rain but a lot more heat and humidity. Maybe trying to bring some of that cooler air closer to philadelphia. 90s or higher from the city to the north and western suburbs when you factor in the humidity its a little higher tomorrow. It will feel like its into the mid to upper 90s much this is the actual heat index. Our focus then is on the showers and storms that are moving in after monday. Tomorrow certainly the hottest then youll feel that humidity cupping in tuesday, wednesday, thursday and friday. A long stretch here. Pretty much not much change in this weather pattern over the next few days. High off the coast. Brings in the heat and the humidity. But it also brings in the shower chance and that looks to be starting on tuesday lasting wednesday, thursday and friday. These will be isolated showers drenching thunderstorms not everybody will see them. But it really starts to pick up by tuesday. These showers moving through pennsylvania. That humidity coming in. May not be quite as hot on tuesday but it will be a bit more humid and isolated showers and storms developing not only tuesday but we have wednesday, thursday, friday and finally some relief on saturday. Tuesday wednesday, thursday, friday showers and storms. Look at the temperatures. 96 down to 92 and 90 humid still just as uncomfortable but maybe not quiet as hot. Now on thursday, the showers and storms develop a bit more widespread on friday. This could be our little break here. One the dry air tries to move in we can see some clearing. Next weekend with temperature of 87. And nice and comfortable low temperatures but on sunday just a few showers possible. 85 degrees. There you go.
