That victim of that brutal beating tells me tonight she believes she was targeted because she accidentally cut a driver off on broad street. Well most late shes telling us that driver beat her with a baseball bat. He was acting crazy. Reporter her bands freshly bandaged from her injuries and recovering from a concussion for the first time were showing the victim of wednesday mornings violent road rage assault the video of her own beating. Fractured hand and a lacerations on my palm. I have a bruised scalp. He hit me in my head. He hit me in my back and my thigh. Reporter the 26yearold from the northeast says she was coming home from her job at a local hospital and on her way to her grandmothers house. She admits she may have accidentally cut off the man on broad and lehigh. Thats when she says he started honking his horn. Yelling and eventually followed her to 16th and clearfield. It didnt have to go that f far. Like, he could have cursed me out but you didnt have to, like, attack me. Reporter surveillance cameras show the man wielding a baseball bat get out of his suv and start swinging. First smashing a rear window, then as she tries to get away, he hits her multiple times. But the beating didnt stop there. As the woman tries to pull away, another camera angle shows the man walk up and smash out another window. The woman then she tries to go after the man with her car and again you see him take out another window. She says her grandmother witnessed the entire attack from her front porch. My grandma, her seen it. It happened right in front of her door, and it happened feet from her and she could do nothing but yell. Reporter police are looking for the man with the bat and this suv with a woman behind the wheel and another passenger in the back seat. The victims uncle says hes lucky his niece is still alive. Its a premeditated act and he needs to be taken, you know, he needs to be put away bought what is he going to do to anybody else . You know, he may do this again. He might kill somebody.
