Reporter fiveyearold girl describes ceasing her niece on the ground after an suv struck her 2200 block of north lambert in north philly and kept on going. A light colored jeep with pa tag struck the girl and left her with abrasions her aunt says the fiveyearold has a concussion and says this to the driver. Turn yourself in. An accident is an accident. Surviving for four hours more than 40 miles off the coast of cape may by treading water with out a live preserver on his boat with a friend when he fell off. He was standing on the back end of the boat, and at the time that he went in the water, and hit a swell and he went overboard. Were at skate degrees close to 70 but by about noon, into the mid to upper 80s, so a quick warm up even though its cool in the morning shedding layers if you have that light coat tomorrow into the upper 80s and 90s by noon. Stays right about there by the afternoon but theres cooler air coming in. These are showers and storms approaching. Now the humidity climbs up just a bit. Youll start to feel a bit uncomfortable and the heat index values not that much higher than the temperature but higher especially to the south where that humidity starting to creep its way north. So what to expect tomorrow . Up to 93, hot, bit humid. Thats what were expecting in center city. It will be cooler in the afternoon down the shore with that sea breeze. Storm watching across the Lehigh Valley as the storms move. Timing as this line pushes into the western suburbs about 4 00 oclock. These have a chance to be severe with gusty winds. Theyll move through between 4 00 and 8 00 oclock and could linger a bit by monday night. Now this is a front moving through. It stalls out, though, and this will be the problem by the end of the week, an area of low pressure moves along it. So we could have a period of rain after the storms tomorrow. That could be wednesday night, thursday maybe even on friday in the seven day forecast. Hot and humid still hot on tuesday storms come through tomorrow night. Mix of sun and clouds on wednesday. But increasing clouds at night. The rain and storms are here thursday. This could be a period of steady or heavy rain thursday. It lingers into friday morning but then clears out. So well watch how that storm develops and exactly where that front stalls out. That will be key in forecasting that heavier rain thursday and friday. But it looks like it will keep the temperatures down. Eat wave breaks possibly monday or tuesday we may touch 90 just again on tuesday. But then the temperatures are a lot cooler mid to low 80s.
