Says Jasmine Wright was strangled death. She may have known her killer and he says one of her parents may have been on the phone with her even just before or as the attack started. Thats sad. Friday she remembered the young woman she would see coming and going from her home. She was just nice. She would say hi and walk past. Pretty. Kept herself up. Reporter neighbor Melanie Harris knows what its like to lose a loved one. Her sister and mother just passed away. She was shaken by wrights murder. Theres no words that can even say how much that hurts. You know, its devastating. A young girl her whole life ahead of her. Im devastated for them. She was beaten very badly. Ultimately she was was strangled that is the cause of death strangulation would it appear it was sort of personal. Reporter homicide detectives and crime seen investigators worked into the night thursday looking for clues and evidence in the murder. Neighbors reported seeing jasmine on wednesday. Her body was discovered thursday afternoon. We believe that she let the person in or they had key. Shocked to see that somebody actually died, you know, i dont know whats going on. Jasmine had just graduated from the Masters Program at drexel four weeks ago. She was also a graduate of penn state. One of the parents was actually on the phone with the daughter either at the time of assault or right before the assault. So obviously that will be critical to fine out what she heard or what she knows. I just hope they catch who did it, though because she was so pretty. My heart goes out to the family. Cell phone video of the arrest of 22yearold tyreke carol taken back in april surfaced online earlier this mom it appears to show punches and baton strikes being delivered as carol struggles with officers. Two officers were allegedly bitten by carol as they tried repeated toll get carols hands behind his back to cuff him. Today his family and the families attorney gathered to demand justice.
