And i chose oh, yeah. Jimmy there she is. Thats adorable, tis ever seen in my lifetime. Isnt it beautiful . Jimmy yeah. I bought my mom that pig, and it grew, like, double the size every week until its now the size of a wild boar. [ laughter ] [ audience ohs ] what jimmy oh did your mom know it was not a a teacup pig . This is false advertising. Jimmy oh my god [ laughter ] thats a giant pig. This is yeah, thats its like when i bought something on amazon and it was meant to be a chair but it was this big jimmy yeah, yeah, exactly. And i thought i just got a a great deal. This, not so much great deal. Now jimmy but its a giant but it walks around the house like a pet . [ light laughter ] thats actually no, that that is after a year. She had to get a new house because it doesnt fit there. It wouldnt fit in there anymore. Jimmy it walks around the pig is it trained as a a house pet . Well, now we cant let it walk around the house and now ive got my mom a house and we got a bigger house and now im trying to buy next door because this is the only time i will ever agree that there needs to be a wall. [ light laughter ] and there needs to be a wall. This pig wants to eat anything under the age of 15. [ light laughter ] and it seems to think i am also under the age of 15. Jimmy yeah. And my, like, little kind of cubby house that i have at my moms house gets smaller each year and her house gets smaller and the pigs house gets bigger. And mine is im basically sharing a bed with this pig. Its outside these paper thin doors jimmy oh, no. And all night, i can hear it, like, calling me. Like make like [ pig snort ] jimmy oh, i got you, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, okay. Jimmy frightening. And i will walk past and i feel like it knows what i think about it and so because theyre smart. Jimmy since its your yeah. Jimmy whats the pigs name . Euphemia, which is meant to be beautiful in greek. Jimmy yeah. [ light laughter ] yeah, no, i still call it emphysema. Like im just im not a a bad and i love animals. I just feel like this one could eat me and my whole family and last year, we went to the emergency room because it did attack my little cousin. So [ audience ohs ] jimmy wait, it really did . What do you mean . What does it do . Did it bite him . My mom has been doing these amazing, like, cooking teaching pigs how to do things, like cooking, which is also really fun, because she starts really early. Jimmy gosh, we have such different lives, me and you. [ laughter ] wow, this is fantastic. I love hearing this. Cooking i have nothing. I have nothing to talk about. Youre teaching a pig how to do stuff with cooking . Yeah, like clicks the click is the reward because clearly she rewarded the pig with food too young, and now its enormous. So she clicks for a reward, im not sure, and the pig loves her. It just hates everybody else and she thought it would be a a good idea for my cousin to feed this pig inside the enclosure. I wouldnt even go in there. And it kind of like ran at my cousin who is, like, 12, and he didnt get it tried to eat her knee, which it would have successfully done, but she jumped over the fence, but she still had a very big, big booboo. I think you dont say booboo after the age of like six. So b jimmy yeah, yeah, you called that exactly. [ light laughter ] yeah. Jimmy well, were wishing the best for you this holiday season. They wanted me to like play the Christmas Party or something. And i had no idea. Jimmy bar mitzvah or something, yeah. Bar mitzvah. How did you and questlove come together and start working together . Tariq we met in high school in philly at the high school for creative and performing arts in the 80s. Jimmy yeah. Tariq dude, you going to blow off philly . [ cheers and applause ] as i recall, we met in the principals office. [ laughter ] i was either returning from a a suspension or about to be suspended. And ahmir was coming in to bring an apple to the principal. [ laughter ] jimmy oh, my god. Questlove oh, word . Word . Oh, yeah . All right, all right. Jimmy he just sold you, oh, my gosh. So, two opposites. Tariq yeah, yeah. And i think i was in there, like, it was some issue about me and my girlfriend at the time, like, we got caught making out in school. And out that wasnt at, you know, as big a deal as the fact that we were cutting class to do it. So, you know, we were suspended for cutting class. Jimmy got you. Got you. And you got together and you figured out he played drums . Tariq yeah, yeah, well, you know, he had on a medallion that was like, you know, the black fist that you see on his pic, and he had like a cool jacket that was hand painted and at the time, that was one of my hustles. I would sell medallions and handpainted jackets. So i was like, whos this dude with someone on that he didnt get from me . [ laughter ] jimmy exactly. Tariq yeah, and we kind of hit it off, once i found out he could recreate all my favorite drum breaks. He had this cool sampler that he had just gotten that he would walk around, you know, hitting, jamming on the one. [ laughter ] a miniature casio keyboard that he would walk around school with. Jimmy no way. You were such a nerd, dude. [ laughter ] i love it, man. Tariq he was like the pied piper. Jimmy thats so cool. Tariq so i went ahead so i let him sit at the cool table.
