The big story on action news is new information about the latest mass shooting in this country. Late tonight authorities released the identity of the gunman. Christie ileto is live in the satellite center. What do we know about him . The District Attorney identified him as kevin neil. This started as a dispute with a neighbor and escalated with him trying to get into an element trielementaryschool. Teachers initiated a lockdown. The teacher came out saying to get inside there was a shooter in the area. Kevin neil fixated on the rancho elementary school. He was randomly picking targets. He was not licensed to carry bus was armed. He spent 25 minutes shooting at the school, injuring a student. He injured a mother and her child bound for the school dropoff. The gunman spent an hour at seven locations, killing four and injuring ten others. It ended with an officer killing neil. Brian flynt is the suspects neighbor and says there was warning signs. Flynts roommate was one of those killed along with another woman who filed a restraining order against the gunman after a reported assault in january. I feel maybe there should be more effort put into stopping things like this. He was on bail for the january incident when he committed this shooting. A 43yearold woman shot her nine month pregnant neighbor tonight on the rosalie street in the Oxford Circle section of the city. It was 6 00. Investigators say there is bad blood between the neighbors. Police were call today the home several times recently. They dont know what led to the shooting tonight.
