A 16 yearold boy was shot and killed, on the front porch of the house in north philadelphia, overnight. Police say that a group of teenagers were sitting on the porch, on the north 19th street and someone walk up and opened fire around 1 20 this morning. The 16 yearold was shot in the chest, and then neck and then a 12 yearold boy was shot in the thigh. None of the other teenagers were injured. The 16 yearold was pronounced dead at the scene, and the 12 yearold was taken to einstein , in stable condition, and police have found eight shell casings and bullet holes on the door and wall of the home. They hope to find nearby surveillance camera that might have caught the suspect, police have not yet revealed a possible motive in the shooting. Also in north philadelphia a 18 yearold is in serious condition after being shot, just blocks from Temple University campus overnight. Police say that the teenager was walking object the 1700 block of north 17th street when he was shot in the back around 12 20 this morning. He was taken to temple hospital. This noon there is no word on what sparked the shooting and no arrests have been made. His identity has in the yet been released but action news has learned that the victim, it was not a Temple University student.
