The best thing i can tell you as far as maybe some precautions you should take is i would just suggest maybe taking a picture, thats about it. In fact, conditions that are not as bad as this its already dangerous so certainly keep that in mind as the day progresses. Reporting live in ocean city, Jeanette Reyes channel6 action news. Agreed. C. 70 in cape may. Hurricane jose is still 230 miles east of Cape Hatteras moving north. Took a little jog toward land but is now on that expected track and it now looks like its going to bend away from us a little bit and so we dont have the Tropical Storm watch here and we will see how this category one hurricane at some point is going to become a Tropical Storm which weakens the wind profile and it looks like it curls around and stays over to our east at some point as the next tropical low but the big issue will be today and tonight as that storm is closer to us. Eight to 10foot breaking waves will lead to damaging beach erosion and were looking at a coastal Flood Warning with minor tidal flooding according to many during during the morning and moderate for the evening high tide and of course dangerous rip currents definitely an issue and if youre a ma mariner you have Tropical Storm conditions the further you go out in sea. Not a great day to go fishing. Mostly cloudy, rip currents at the shore with a high of 74 at the beach today. Up in allentown, mostly cloudy and mainly dry. Now you see the clearly defined eye making its way towards puerto rico and perhaps the u. S. Virgin islands.
