Not so fun here in the philadelphia area in the very end in those final second, right, jamie. They missed an opportunity, guys, frustrated on the plane home wouldnt you say. Sure did. I said nobody thought this game was enclose when the first half ended with they were down just a field goal, we were all pleasantly surprised n the owned andy reids chiefs was too tough. Doug pederson did he try to out coach his monitor third quarter, chiefs, cling to a sixthree lead. Carson wentz, Alshon Jeffery to a 16yard touchdown. Gave the bird their lead. That was their last lead of the game. In the fourth, travis kelce put the chiefs ahead for good on a leaping 15yard score, jasons brother. That made it 2013. And then after an recovering on side kick eagles did have a chance of the miracle on the last play of the gay but he could not come down witt. Eagles lose 27206789 they finished so close, and yet so far. It is football. That is football. We learn it last year. We had a lot of close ballgames that we didnt find a way to win. This week we came up short. It is a Good Football Team a lot of things we did well a lot of things we can fix and learn from it. However the game plays out we tried to find a way to win in the end. The mistakes, obviously cost to us day. Little bit later in sports we will go live with Jeff Skversky, for further take on the game. Yes, thanks, jamie. Jamies back to talk about the eagles chiefs game what do they say close but no cigar. That is exactly what this was, the chiefs put up 42 points on the patriots last week. When eagles defense held them to six points, everybody was impressed. In the end they could not sustain their level of play. Mentor put his pro shay in place. Eagles and Doug Pederson returning to kansas city to return to face andy reid. Crazy way to end the half. Carson wentz deep for zach ertz, ball bounces off, his hands into the those of the tightened. 53yard gain, reid not happy with the news as i was. But surely his found turned around when eagles new kicker jake elliott missed a chip shot chance to tie the game. That was no fun. Fourth quarter still sixthree bird with the last lead of the game, on wentz, Alshon Jeffery scored 16yard touchdown. Made it 10six. Pederson was pumped. Kareem hunt took over from there. Rook 53yard touchdown run to put chiefs on front. He had five touchdowns already this season. Fourth quarter, tied game. Wentz threw the ball off a helmet in the hands of chris jones. That would lead to the go ahead score. Travis kelce, jasons brother, with a leaping 15yard touchdown to make it 2013. One last shot forbidder after recovering on side kick, they did try for a miracle in the hail hail marry that was unanswered. Eagles lose 2720. Wentz 25 of 47, 333yard, two touchdowns but was pick off once and sacked six times. Jeff skversky live at arrow head stadium. Was this tough to take for the players. It felt like it would be . Yeah, jamie, the offense struggling yet gang today carson wentz sacked a career high six times. Where in the world was lagarrette blount. He led nfl rushing touchdowns last year to day with the chiefs he didnt even have a single carry. Is this how Doug Pederson is actually going to start running this offense. I cannot sit here and say. That we have to get the whole thing fixed. When we play good teams, good defense, you have to have the ability to run the ball. This is two week in the row we struggled. It is an area we have to fix. It is a good defense we faced. We thought we would make plays in the pasting game and that is how the game went today. You know, im not overly concerned about the running game. I know that will be a big part of our offense going forward. Wentz not overly concerned about that running game but in two games this season the eagles have yet to have one of their running backs go for over 50yard. That is a big problem. You cannot have wentz as your leading rush eras they did today against the chiefs and think you will win ballgames. Live from kansas city, Jeff Skversky channel six action news. Absolutely right, thanks, jeff. We will talk much more in depth about this game tonight on action news sports sunday by former eagles running back Brian Westbrook who did run the ball very well when he was here. Never want to be rooting for the opposition but i found myself happy for joey, wilmington delaware native, Avon Grove High School west chester university. He hit a grand slam in from of his family. As with the sixthree lead. Hoskins is in a slump. He is zero for five with three strike outs. Phillies lose sixthree. Union visiting insuring red bulls. It was more like andre blake, against the red bulls, and, union goaltender had eight saves, and many from point blank range. They played to a scoreless tie there you have it. Yes. Thanks, jamie.
