Nursing home officials also claim they made multiple calls to state agencies including the governors office. Tonight the governors spokesman confirms those calls to an Office Emergency cell phone, but insists, at no time did the facility report that conditions had become dangerous or that the health and safety of their patients was at risk. The home wasnt evacuated until wednesday morning, when a nurse from the hospital just steps away grew concerned after a series of 911 calls.
