We are told that a 24yearold man was shot one time transported to temple hospital and the scene is being held here as the crime scene unit will be arriving and so far no arrests. And now investigators trying to find the cause of a fire that consumed this home of west 37th street. Trapping a man inside and seriously injured his wife. They banged on the door and i ran up the street. That man was georgina watsons stepfather, her mothers husband of more than 30 years. Dennis watson bolted out of the home to what looked like a raging ball of fire and smoke. I was running up the street yelling where is my mom. And a neighbor said she is here, she is here. How did it feel hearing that . Amazing but i was trying to figure out where my stepdad was and they said he ran in to get your mom. He ran in to rescue his wife but she already jumped out of a second story window into the arms of a neighbor waiting to catch her below and the flames trapped him inside. By the time fire crews rescued him he was in critical condition. They found a pulse and performed cpr and he was pronounced dead at the hospital. He took good care of her and loved her and they love their family and always doing things with their family. Investigators dont know if there were working smoke debtors inside of the home. And they will be out in the neighborhood checking for spoke detectors and handing them out as well.
