Workington metal band Drudge finally release debut album

West Cumbria’s stoner/sludge metal band, ‘Drudge' have finally released their debut album Lay Your Burden Down.’
The group was set to release the project in early April last year, but Covid-19 and impending lockdowns meant they had to postpone the album for a whole year.
But, this week, and with much anticipation from fans, they were finally able to release the album. Prior to the virus the band had plans to gig at the Tractor Shed Brewery in Workington, where bands from all over the country would have the chance to play their newest material.
John Branch, the band’s drummer said: “We had been sitting on the album for two months and wanted to get it out but unfortunately the venue had to be cancelled.”
