Woman seriously injured after car and pedestrian crash – Caringbah South
An investigation is underway after a woman was struck by a vehicle in Sydney’s south today.
About 12.40am (Sunday 2 May 2021), emergency services were called to Ash Avenue, Caringbah South, after reports a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.
Officers from Sutherland Shire Police Area Command attended and found a woman – believed to be in her late 20s – trapped beneath a white Toyota hatchback.
Fire and Rescue NSW, with the assistance of NSW Ambulance paramedics, eventually freed the woman about 2am.
She was taken to St George Hospital in a serious condition with significant leg and arm injuries.
