Ranchi: After the declaration of Class X results by various boards, admission activities have picked up in city schools and colleges.
Jawahar Vidya Mandir Shyamli, which had allowed students to take provisional admission in Class XI, has sent an e-mail to students asking them to submit their mark sheets. Principal Samarjit Jana said, “Students who fulfil our cut-off marks criteria will make it to the final list. We would refund the admission fees of those who will not make it to the list.”
An official of the Sarla Birla Public School also said that the school administration would review the provisional admissions given to students of Class XI. She said, “Students falling short of cut-off marks by a narrow margin would be counselled so that he or she could take admission either in a different stream or choose a different combination of subjects.”
