Agonizing unemployment delays have many feeling defeated ahead of Christmas holiday

HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - The holidays are usually a time for happiness and gratefulness.
But this year, many are feeling defeated and forgotten about.
“Whenever I call the unemployment, they’re like, ‘Don’t worry, we’re going to get to you. Oh yeah, we escalated your claim, we’re going to get to you, be patient.’ But it’s December 18th, how much more patient should I be?” said Kelly Anderson.
