Wind-driven 'Glassinator' sculpture in Detroit Lakes is being reworked
“The artist is providing a different piece on top,” a city administrator said. “The pole and structure will be the same, the new fixture will be a little different -- there were problems with it from the beginning, and they’re trying to resolve it.”

The funky, colorful, whirligig Glassinator, mounted on a pole to catch the wind off Big Detroit Lake at the U.S. Highway 10 overlook in Detroit Lakes, has gone back to the studio to be reworked.
