Country music icon Willie Nelson received his first COVID-19 vaccine dose this week.Texas-based Family Hospital Systems shared a photo of the country superstar Wednesday in which he gave a thumbs-up."Getting your COVID vaccine is Willie cool," the health care system said for a Facebook post.Rolling Stone magazine spoke with his wife, Annie D'Angelo Nelson.“He was bragging yesterday after he got it that he didn’t even have a sore arm,” she said. “Now, today, of course, his arm is sore. We’re both just a little tired. I don’t know if we wouldn’t be tired anyway, but we’re gonna do what they said and let the vaccine do its job.”The 87-year-old is included in the first phases of the vaccine distribution, KHOU-TV noted.
