During a meeting Monday, the Whitfield County Board of Commissioners passed a proclamation declaring Monday, Dec. 14, Roger Crossen Day and had a moment of silence for the commissioner (pictured) who represented District 3 until his death Nov. 17. They also voted to name the new community center at Riverbend Park the Roger Crossen Community Center.
