Central Pennsylvanians will have a brief window this morning to pick up bread, milk and any other necessities before they’re stuck inside under at least a foot of snow, forecasters said.
Snow flurries are likely to begin by noon, but the worst of the storm isn’t coming until 6 or 7 p.m., according to Rachel Gutierrez, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service. By that point, two to three inches of snow could be accumulating per hour.
