CELINA- As of April 29 2021, the Mercer County Health District (MCHD) reports 4,046 confirmed cases, 751 probable cases, 3,879 recovered cases, 4 hospitalizations, 85 COVID-19 deaths, and 19 probable deaths of COVID-19. There have been 38 confirmed cases that have passed away due to causes other than COVID-19. Today there are 43 known active cases of COVID-19 in Mercer County.
Due to continued interest in the COVID-19 vaccine, the MCHD is opening up more appointments for tomorrow’s (Friday, April 30) clinic.
