This vehicle was hit but one of those bullets that were sprayed during that driveby shooting. Police say this was a large caliber weapon and that all more than 16 shots, fired. Police have been reviewing Surveillance Video and say the victims were either in the street or on the sidewalk around 9 30 last fwhiet they were shot. A 52yearold man who police say was one of those innocent bystanders is in Critical Condition right now. Two teens also recovering, one from a graze wound, the 0ther from a gunshot. The fourth man was the intended target of the shooting. We talked to a man who lives a block away from 24th and ridge where all of this happened. He says he himself could have been one of those victims. Its kind of crazy because i just left the store at 9 45 from getting me snacks and everything. Going back in the house im getting ready to wind down for work the next day, then i hear this. Reporter and police are looking for a darkcolored sedan. They say its a newer model and the shots were fired from the passenger side of that vehicle. All of those shooting victims, the good news here is that they are expected to survive. Two gunman ambushed a father just feet away from his family. Police say as the father stepped into the vestibule inside of his apartment, the two men shot him execution style. His girlfriend and two young daughters were inside the apartment but they were not hurt. Police rushed the father to the hospital where he died. Police now on the hunt for the shooters. I had seen one of the students that had been injured, and if was i had to back away from it. I couldnt look at anymore. I heard like two shots and i turned around and behind me i see like this big figure of a person. And i just see like fire coming from a gun. As we look over the last few hours, you see the thicker clouds in delaware and south jersey, the breaks in the clouds to the north and west, and those breaks starting to move towards the philadelphia area. Were getting a little bit more of a brightening on that trend. Again, well continue than trend. Only about 44 this afternoon for the High Temperature after a couple of days in the low 60s. The average highs 40, so this actually is a little above average for this time of the year, just feels so much colder than the last couple days. Only 38 tomorrow and 44 on friday. Right now were seeing temperatures in the 40s in a good bit of the area, 42 in philadelphia, but its not really going to go up much. It took a while for us to go through the normal routines of treatments and therapies and medications and it wasnt until we saw a news segment that discussed oxygen therapy, some other yoga breathing therapies, and that sort that really kind of got us on to it. And once we did and learned how beneficial it could be to not only myself but other veterans, that was kind of where the rubber hit the road and we took off. And i want to ask you who came up with the idea to raise money and awareness for other veterans who have chucks same story . Well, this has started out as a fundraiser first for my husband. And then because we had received so many generous doe nations we were able to carry it on to a nonprofit. So being able to work with different organizations like oxygen awareness, hearts hyper barracks, we have Different Centers around the nation who have supported us, but weve been so supportive with our own high school, Saint Marks High School to host this event in wilmington on our alma mater grounds to be able to have the ability to bring out 300 plus runners, hopefully four hundred or 500 runners this year would be great. He brings his mad basketball skills to the family and obviously his math skills and love, a lot of love. Zachary has a huge heart. Its really important for him to please people and he just has a lot of love to give. Zachary is this weeks wednesdays child.
