It will ride up the east coast, and it will come in here tonight. This morning, all we have to deal with is the cold. Really cold this morning. The wind has died down. In the suburbs, 3 degrees. 8 in new jersey, 18 in philadelphia. We will see a lot of sunshine. No snow during the day. The temperatures will moderate quite a bit. This is the warmest weve seen in days. 30 in the suburbs. 32 in new jersey. And into the low 30s for delaware and philadelphia, as well. Cherry hill, new jersey, starting on route 70. Our cameras near kings highway. We have a water main break here. If you look at the flashing lights, eastbound route 70. Where were seeing lane restrictions and cars getting through, slower than normal eastbound. The water main break isnt as serious, theyre not closing the roads at cheltenham and old soldiers road. The biggest problem here is that were seeing slippery conditions in the area. Traffic still getting by there. In cheltenham, still another water main break on cheltenham avenue and coventry avenue. Back to you. Thank you. The jersey shore could see the worst of the snowstorm, part of the delaware bay has already frozen over. Now people are preparing for even more brutal conditions. People were coming to the jersey shore to check homes that they have up and down the coast. This is what nay found what they found, a frozen coastline up and down the shore. The same in cape may, water frozen along the shore. Public works crews have gotten plows loaded with salt and are ready to go. And employees at local Hardware Stores tell us that salt, flashlights, and heaters, as youd imagine, all going fast. With temperatures as cold as they are and the frozen water along the shore, you may not think that flooding is a top for concern for people along the jersey shore and those with homes here, but it is a firsthand concern for many, yet it seems inckocongruous because were talking about temperatures well below freezing, snow that wont go away because its too cold to melt, yet flooding is an issue. Then philadelphia and the suburbs in for one to three with a little bit less north and west. This will likely change.
