The snow is making its way through pittsburgh. Thats the first of several waves of snow that will come through tonight. As far as timing it out, you can see that this whole system stretches from the western portion of pennsylvania all the way back through indiana. So its sort of going to come in several waves. You can make out the spin of this area of low pressure centered right over michigan. So lets time it out in your neighborhood, find out whats going to go on. Were going hyperlocal. Lets start in south jersey and the shore. Nothing by 7 00, 8 00. There we go. Between 9 00 and 10 00 youll see the snow start to cross the area. Were not expecting anything along the atlantic. Inland. Places like vineland where you could pick up over an inch. Cape may, Atlantic City, talking about a dusting that will probably melt right away due to the warmer adjacent atlantic waters. Now to delaware. Many of the models dont have anything for you down here in bethany beach, georgetown. Watching the time line here. This is one of the first places that the snow starts to cover. 8 00, 9 00, well be looking at it move through. Not huge amounts. By 11 00, less than an inch across the area. The highest amounts would be up here near newark and wilmington. Maybe even dover. An inch at most. Now lets check out whats going on with philadelphia and the burbs. The time line. 8 00, nothing. By 9 00 we already have the snow moving across the area. Look at the amounts. The models are conflicted. Some say 1 to 2 inches in philadelphia, some say a little less. I would plan on this being pretty close to it. East falls, a little over an inch. Eastwick, philadelphia. Up into the upper pennsylvania suburbs. Well look at the lehigh valley. This is where we may see some of our higher amounts. Some places exceeding 2 inches. That starts a little later, about 10 00. You could see anywhere from 2 to 3 inches placing like reading and into allentown. A look at your tenday on 10. Temperatures tomorrow. If we dont see the winds turn too early well see 37. If they turn to the north earlier well be in the lower 30s. 38 saturday. Chance of rain sunday night, into monday. Thats where we see the 40s. Winter, it finally arrives.
