Philadelphia currently raining at 37 degrees. And notice where the winds are coming in from. The southwest. Southwest flow equals warmer temps. So thats what were going to see today. The afternoon is going to be fairly mild. And you can see from our radar and satellite picture its clear right now. Were going to start with sunshine. But if you pull out our wider view, this is heading our way. Those clouds and a little bit of moisture will head in our direction for increase in cloud coverage during day. An isolated chance of showers west of philadelphia by tonight because thats a cold front. So ahead of the front were tracking temperatures today that make their way thru the 50s. By 11 00 a. The black friday shopping frenzy reached a fever pitch across our region yesterday. But the deals that brought the huge crowds to the stores are not over. Were just looking at a very isolated chance of showers. For the most part this front is going to be mostly dry as it passes us. But it will switch up the temperatures. Warm today, and then tomorrow cooler than average for this time of year. Here are the numbers. This isnt necessarily warm, warm. But this time of year its about avrnl average is about 58 degrees. Reporter you have to look closely to see why Overbrook Educational Center is a lifesaver for some kids. Its just a really special place for kids to learn and grow and be themselves. Reporter being themselves is something a third of these students can struggle with any given day. They are blind or visually impaired. But theyre accepted at this Philadelphia Public School like theyre no different. Here its normal to depot to school with students that are blind or visually impaired. Reporter the principal works with the staff to make sure the rest of the students accept their classmates who have trouble seeing. Anytime a child helps another child or kind to another child, theyre praised at. And thats what we expect from them naught not just inside of school but outside. When i got here i had friends who accepted me being visually impaired because they have other visually impaired friends. If this was a book, i would literally go like this and look for like northwest. Reporter teachers let her sit close to the board and she has a tablet that enlarges print. Her skills are now up to speed. Sometimes ill say this is school thats like a second home.
