Officers rushed him immediately to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The man accused of leaving his son to die after a crash heads to court in bucks county. Christopher koon has a preliminary hearing this afternoon, accused of stealing from a Walmart Store in early october, then crashing his suv trying to escape. Witnesses told police that koon stepped over the body of his 2yearold son who was ejected from the suv. Police caught up with him a short time later and charged him with thirddegree murder. Yesterday, Beverly Young nelson came forward and said that moore sexually assaulted her when she was 16. Nelson says moore was a regular customer at a restaurant where she worked and claims that moore who was then District Attorney offered her a ride home but instead parked behind the business and assaulted her. I was twisting and struggling and begging him to stop. I thought that he was going to rape me. Moore denied the accusations against him and dismissed calls to drop out of the race. Today the jury in senator Bob Menendezs federal bribery trial will be back to try again to reach a verdict. Yesterday jurors revealed that they were deadlocked and could not agree on a verdict on any of the 18 counts against the senator. The judge ordered them back to court today to keep deliberating. Menendez is accused of taking gifts from a wealthy florida doctor in exchange for political influence. Clearly there are jurors who believe in my innocence. I want to thank them for that. More than two dozen people now face charges in the hazing death of a Penn State Fraternity pledge. Yesterday prosecutors charged ten more people in connection to the death of Timothy Piazza after they recovered Security Camera video from inside the frat house that was deleted as police began their investigation. On the video, piazza was seen getting at least 18 drinks in less than an hour and a half. He died of injuries suffered in a fall inside the house. Piazzas parents remain devastated. We would be anxiously awaiting tims return home for thanksgiving break on friday. A lawyer for one of the students facing charges says that while he feels terrible for the piazza family, his client did not commit a crime.
