So we have these temperatures that are warm to start which makes it very easy in the afternoon make it to the upper 80s, flirting with 90. By tomorrow were talking 90s. So the trend for today right now goes up to 68, 73 at 9 00 a. M. And by noon 81. If you want to get in the morning run, do it early before things really start to heat up. As for your winds coming in from the north today about 10 Miles Per Hour. The north flow is thanks to High Pressure thats built in. And that is keeping us toasty. Developing now, police are searching for this man in a crime thats rocked a Montgomery County community. Greg feldman, the suspect you see right here, is accused of shooting his exgirlfriends mother right in the doorway of her home. Reporter this suspect is accused of going to his exgirlfriends house, confronting the family and then shooting his exs mother after there was some sort of argument. And now an allout search for greg feldman who Authorities Say should be considered armed and dangerous. Yesterday skyforce 10 was hovering over the scene on long meadow road in limerick township. Police say feldman shot amy hermann two times when she told him to leave the property after he kept asking to see her daughter. Feldman then allegedly told the daughter that he wanted her to, quote, feel his pain. We spoke to neighbors who saw this go down. One of whom saw the suspect running away to his car. He just walked calmly toward his car, got in and drove away. He didnt seem to be in any rush or anything. Terrible. Scary. A lot of kids on this street and theyre not allowed within, you know, five feet away from me. Reporter amy hermann suffered chest and neck wounds. Were working to find out her condition. Meantime feldman will face several charges including attempted murder once hes caught. Police want your help. They want you on the look out for the car he was last seen driving. It was a 2016 black mazda sedan with a pennsylvania license plate. Police say right now they have no update yet and they really do need the publics help to track down this attempted murder suspect. Skyforce 10 over the scene on Waterloo Street last night. Authorities tell us the victim was shot in the head here. Medics rushed him to the hospital but thats where he died. Also new overnight, a man shot in north philadelphia is in critical condition. The gunfire broke out here at 27th and west sergeant streets around 1 30 this morning. Police have not made any arrests in this case. Now to a shooting involving a toddler. A man is recovering after his 3yearold nephew managed to reach under a car seat, grab the gun and then shoot him. You can see police consoling the boy in center city yesterday. Police tell us the gun belongs to the uncle whos an officer with the philadelphia housing authority. The officer was offduty at the time. Police tell us he was shot just moments after putting the gun under the passenger seat because he couldnt take it into city hall. And thats where he was headed. Investigators are now looking into this incident. This morning, were learning a former worker at a philadelphia playground is charged with raping a teenager with special needs. Police say on wednesday Ronald Coleman restrained and sexually assaulted the 18yearold inside a rec center near the disilvetro playground. The city says he was a parttime Seasonal Worker and was fired following his arrest. Folks living near 13th and vine streets in center city, philadelphia, are back in their homes following an underground fire yesterday. Flames and smoke as you can see knocked out power and forced more than 200 people to evacuate. This is about 5 00 in the afternoon. Peco tells us an underground cable issue sparked the fire. The electricity came back on last night. 6 05 on this saturday. Now to the latest on Hurricane Maria. The category 3 storm is moving away from the bahamas and into the open atlantic. Winds still at 120 Miles Per Hour, that still makes it a category 3 storm. And it is moving to the northnorthwest at 9 Miles Per Hour. Heres projected path put out by the latest path projection with the National Hurricane center through sunday, through monday, early a. M. Hours of tuesday downgrades to a category 2, and its getting a little bit closer to the east coast here. Now, as we go through your wednesday into thursday, notice how much the cone widens. Thats because a few models have it kind of coming very close to Cape Hatteras before arching off to the east. This is something were going to have to watch pretty closely, but regardless its close enough were going to feel some local impacts as we get into the next workweek. Yeah, so the official sunrise is 6 50 this morning but you can already see looking over center city the picture starting to brighten up a bit and we are going to have a sunny day ahead of us because of High Pressure thats built in over the area. Now, we were talking about this a week ago that it was going to build in, kind of protect us from jose when it was still a tropical storm. And also warm us up and warm us up it has. Look at this. Were at 68 right now in millville and philadelphia and northeast philadelphia were 70 at the Atlantic City marina, 67 in trenton and only a little cooler north and west. Some spots into the 50s like lancaster and mt. Pocono. But really this is a warm start now that were in fall, its the end of september, things are looking pretty nice. Police tell us a driver hit a person at h street and eerie avenue and took off. The victim is in critical condition. Officers are now searching for the champagnecolored car. The victim in the second hitandrun is also in critical condition. Police say the driver in this case hit the man around 1 00 this morning at broad street and glenwood avenue. Again, in north philadelphia. Detectives are now reviewing Surveillance Video from some nearby buildings to try to get a better description of the car involved. Now to our continuing coverage of Hurricane Maria. The category 3 storm is moving into open water, open ocean after leaving a trail of destruction in the caribbean. Maria packed its biggest punch in puerto rico where floods and widespread Power Outages are hampering the recovery effort. Nbcs barry arran reports from puerto rico. Along a roadside people lining up with plastic bottles and jugs collecting stream water from pipes on a hillside. The water shortage blamed on puerto ricos power crisis. Millions across the island spending another night in the dark. Contractors brought in to help clear debris before they can start reconnecting electric lines. Desperate people trying to return to their homes and loved ones. The islands latest death toll is six and the threats are not over. The risk of flash flooding very real and very dangerous. That quake follows north koreas suggestion that it might conduct another nuclear test, but south koreas Weather Agency says the quake was natural, not caused by an artificial explosion. Were going to continue to follow that story. Now to new consequences for north korea. China says it will limit oil supplies to the north following the new u. N. Sanctions imposed over the countrys Nuclear Missile programs. The north depends on china for nearly all of its energy resources. The new chinese restrictions apply only to refined petroleum, not to crude oil. Meantime, President Trump and north Korean Leader kim jongun continue to exchange insults and raise tensions. This week kim threatened to test another Hydrogen Bomb over the pacific. Yesterday, President Trump again referred to kim as rocket man and called him a madman. That followed kims description of mr. Trump as a mentally deranged dotert, considered to be a senile senior. Holding onto hope, thats the sentiment across mexico city as families are praying that their missing loved ones might still be found in the rubble of collapsed buildings. The rescue operation following tuesdays earthquake stretches into a fifth day today. The 7. 1 magnitude quake toppled buildings killing nearly 300 people. A flight to philadelphia has one of President Trumps cabinet members under some federal scrutiny. According to politico, health and Human Services secretary tom price has racked up more than 300,000 in charter flights. That includes the trip from d. C. Big difference from what we normally see by the way average is 75 degrees. In the suburbs up to 85, 88 on sunday. 81 staying in the low 80s at jersey shore and delaware high of 87 today, 90 tomorrow, sunny conditions. Its a very dry condition. Youll see that the humidity upticks just a smidge on your sunday. Not enough for it to be terribly uncomfortable but you might notice slightly more humid. Heres the hour by hour, so we go through our saturday, like i said no clouds because we stay sunny and clear. Tomorrow a few spot clouds start in the morning, a couple scattered clouds in the afternoon, mostly sunny forecast with no rain expected. Now lets track maria. So were going throughout the next few days from now all the way through your Tuesday Morning notice it makes that pretty much direct drive to the north, very similar to what jose did not too long ago. And still looking at a category 3 turning category 2 hurricane by tuesday. So still a strong hurricane were looking at. And notice some of the rain starting to impact parts of the shoreline outside of north carolina. Then we fast forward this through to wednesday, now weve got the chance of some scattered showers making their way to us. Look at the cone projection here. It starts to weaken, maria, and it will likely turn out to sea, but its going to have a quick brush right near Cape Hatteras. And it could potentially, you see the cone, get fairly close to us, though at this point doesnt look like a landfall issue. Just would be we feel the ripple effects again somewhat similar to what had happened with jose. And look at this, showers continuing through your thursday in the forecast before this continues to move off and out to sea. So heres some of the coastal threats we are looking at as of now im sorry, thats an old graphic. Let me get you that other one coming up in just a bit. But we are looking at possibility of some beach erosion as well as some rough seas as a result of maria. There are the scattered showers i was talking about, your wednesday into thursday, we start to pick up on the chance of rain. Well have another chance come next saturday. Things are often interesting whenever these two Division Rivals get together. Some of the best moments in eagles history in fact have been against the giants. And the players know the atmosphere at the linc will be bananas. Its going to be fun. Its going to be a great environment. Passionate fan base. Im excited to go out there and do my job and hopefully come away with a win. I know we played in the linc for the preseason and i know that was pretty intense, for a game its going to be even more ts exciting. Again, were excited to be at home for it.
