Police nationwide ramping up security as large crowds prepare to gather for july fourth celebrations. Americans are warned to remain vigilant in the wake of the extremists. The government is on heightened alert on holidays but there is an increased threat from isis this Independence Day. Expect a heightened police presence. As many as 7,000 officers deployed in new york and tight security everywhere. As the nation celebrates Independence Day with parades and fireworks, there is heightened security across the country. While there is no specific threat this weekend major cities are on alert. Were stepping it up to make sure it can be as secure as possible. Reporter in boston under cover and unformed officers deployed with Tactical Units and helicopters. In new york city, more patrolmen on the streets. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo enhancing the monitoring of the celebrations. Incapital, heightened security measures and the citys Emergency Operations center in los angeles is activated. All this as isis is stepping up calls for attack. We have a message from isis last week when ramadan, the holy muslim month was starting the spokesperson of isis said you should make an extra effort during ramadan. Today is one of the most crucial days of the year for the Tourism Industry in North Carolina. All beaches are open despite seven recent shark attacks. This morning in North Carolina some vacationers are on edge after scenes like this. Two men fishing in killdevil hills reel in a shark before releasing it back into the water. We are worried about the water for the first time. Reporter in three weeks, seven shark attacks in North Carolina. Doctors say the latest victim the man in his 60s, will require multiple surgeries. There is a concern about what is being done. I have not heard anything. Reporter posted shark warnings like this one are hard to come by. The small signs tell visitors to avoid swimming at dusk or dawn and avoid brightly colored swimwear. Because of the frequency and distribution im concerned. Reporter so why the shark surge . This year we went from water temperatures in the mid70s to water temperatures in the mid to high 80s in the span of five days. What that may have done is caused all of the sharks part of that migration to move up as one mass. The sharks are coming in for food. Reporter state officials are urging fisherman to stay away from swimmers or surfers. One theory is they are chumming sharks too close to shore. They have not changed their ways in 15 years. Reporter some fishermen are saying the sharks are hurting their livelihood. They report they are reeling in more half eaten fish than before. They do hope that tourists cannot stay away. Whether it is their child or someone else. Is that because you are spending money on the kids or you dont have money to put away. It is a combination of both. You have a 24yearold son living at home and you are paying for groceries 350 a month. Transportation and gas and insurance, 150 a month. Thats 500 you are spending on your kid living at home a month. That is 6,000 a year. Put that money in a 401 k or i. R. A. You could have 12,000 saved for retirement. Thats one side of the equation. The other part of it are these millennials coming home maybe a picture of lazy kids not finding a job. That is not necessary. Look at the Student Loan Debt and enormous amount of Student Loan Debt. When you look at that the studies have found that for every 10,000 in Student Loan Debt 3 more likely to live at home with their parents. Add to that we may be Getting Better terms of the employment picture. Another side, as they get back on track and maybe find a job, they cannot afford housing. That is preventing them from moving out. Lets look at this for both parties here. Help us set up a winning solution. The first thing we need to do is set a time limit. You dont want them living with you forever. No, i dont. You want a plan as to how long they will stay or how long it will take for them to find a job or how long they will be able to stay without paying for some expenses. Figure out a time limit for all of those things. The other thing you want to do is set up and spell out the expectations expectations. Let them know this is not a bed and breakfast. You have to contribute even if you cannot contribute financially right now without a job, here are things you have to do around the house. It is not like teenagers living at home for free. They have it put in something as well. Spell those out. And last thing which is important, have a financial plan. If you dont have a budget if you have not set up a plan for yourself how can you expect your child to do the same . You need to figure out at 20 something, what is my Financial Life going to look like now and what do i want it to look like in the future . As a parent you havent thought about it or put that money away now is the time to do that and think aggressively if you havent saved a lot. Especially at that point because you could be in retirement for decades. It is still a longterm investment. Another thing we found with the study, a lot of parents are not aggressive. If they are putting something away they are conservative. That means putting money in the stock market more than you are comfortable with to catch up. Great insight and advice. I started to ask her if she has the votes to take down the flag. I dont think this is going to be easy. I dont think that its going to be painless. Just to get used to the equipment. They are usually worn out at the end which is what you want. You want a workout in and you are wearing them out. You feel better about leaving them while youre at work. A tired dog is a good dog. How many people have in a class . Generally ten or more. You do the classes in the park. So it depends on the day and weather. And certain type of dog that performs better than others . Depends on the fitness level. Labs are more active dogs. We modify it for all levels. I heard about it from jeff morrow. This is a whole chicken and sugar and salt. That is for the brine. Olive oil and mayo and Apple Cider Vinegar and fresh thyme and black and white pepper. This is a recipe that has been around for a long time at big bobs. What they do is grill the chicken. Do we have to brine it first . Yes. I have a one, two, three recipe. One of something, two of something, three of something. Brine, one pint of water. Two tablespoons of sugar. Three tablespoons of salt. Simple. How long . Eight hours to overnight. You multiply the amount of brine. I struggle with butterflying the chicken. I want to show you how to do it. The cool thing is not only is it a cool way to serve to the guests but even and faster cooking. If you just roast the bottom of the chicken, it is gummy. You want to look for the neck. That is the backbone. On either side cut down the back. Oh, wow. You make it look easy. Very good kitchen scissors all the way down to the back. Now we have done one side. Im a lefty. I like to go down the other side. I have been doing this a long time. Hold on to the neck and the back. A lot of times i save these in the freezer and render them down and make a gravy. That comes out. You can take a knife and go right in the center and hit that and crack that breastbone to flatten it out or flip it over and use the weight of your body to press it down. Neck . Like a massage. There you go. You heard that. So brush that with a bit of oil. You get that on the grill. How long should the chicken sit out before you throw it on the grill . That is the tip of the day. A lot of people wonder what happens when they put it on the grill and it is not cooked inside. You can leave the meat on the kitchen counter for up to two hours. You wont have a cold center on the chicken. Get that on the grill. Ill show you what to do down here. Throw this on the grill. Skin down. You should get started on the sauce .
