Thieves stole six vehicles and attempted to steal eight more at Wauwatosa's Russ Darrow Kia last week.
After the initial thefts on the morning of Wednesday, Feb. 24, at the dealership, 1901 N. Mayfair Road, thieves returned to the dealership and its overflow parking lot hours later and attempted to steal more vehicles, according to police.
Some of the attempted thefts involved removing the rear windows of the vehicle and stripping off the steering column.
Next, between the night of Feb. 24 and the morning of Feb. 25, thieves attempted to steal more vehicles from the dealership's overflow parking lot across the street, at 1750 N. Mayfair Road.
