The Wallaceburg Legion is thanking citizens after Branch 18 raised over $12,000 through its annual Poppy Campaign, which helps support veterans and their family in the local community.
In a release, the Legion also announced that prior to the campaign, the branch donated $1,000 each to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance’s urology department and the Ronald McDonald House.
