Vocanic Eruption on Suwanosejima Raises Alert

An eruption from the Ontake crater on the remote Japanese island of Suwanosejima, south west of Kagoshima, at 0:22 AM on Sunday morning, sent volcanic debris flying more than one kilometer from the center.
