Vicky Phelan reveals she's travelling to America for clinical trial that she hopes will prolong her life

The Limerick native had been using an experimental drug called Pembro to help battle her cancer but it has stopped working and her cancer has started to spread.
She previously spoke about considering starting a new American drug trial that will help her live longer.
Vicky has now revealed that she will be travelling to the US in the coming days to start her trial.
The campaigner spoke about the trail with Ryan Tubridy on The Late Late Show and she said that she will be going on her own.
