Venom movie, starring Tom Hardy (and another one of his unidentifiable accents). The post-credits scene which teased the sequel's main villain was, perhaps rightly, derided for its Woody Harrelson's terrible wig.
Well, the wig has gotten an upgrade. Not only that, many have expressed delight at the same discordant tone but upgraded cohesion thanks to director Andy Serkis — plus Stephen Graham!
Venom, the trailer for the sequel teases a much more coherent and focused film — let's hope it delivers. But or all the freaking out over every Spider-Man Easter egg Serkis stuffed in the trailer, there was one little nod to the comics you may have missed.
