The Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) commissioner reported to the Gujarat High Court (HC) that 1,542 units in the city were sealed after a fire tragedy at the Rajkot game zone. The sealed buildings included hospitals, education institutes, malls, hotels, restaurants, furniture shops, and other establishments lacking fire safety measures and necessary permissions.
