MADISON, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Madison is expanding on campus living into the Lowell Center next fall for all students.
Campus officials say both the size of the freshman class and interest in on campus living is growing.
According to the director of Marketing and Communication at University Housing, Brendon Dybdahl, the university is working in creative ways to open housing space and make sure every student feels at home.
“Students still want to be on campus and they want that on campus experience and so it’s really great that we are able to open up new spaces and provide that,” Dybdahl said. “The demand next year for on campus housing is really high because students coming in want those connections and campus experiences.”
