Pakistani fashion designer Ali Xeeshan's new fashion campaign against dowry in collaboration with the United Nations Women Pakistan has left Twitter divided. Numaish is Ali Xeeshan's latest collection of bridal couture and "highlights the bitter reality of the bizarre matrimonial tradition - dowry, in the most artistic way possible," as per a report published in Daily Pakistan.
UN Women Pakistan shared a post on Twitter in support of Numaish along with pictures from Ali Xeeshan's anti-dowry fashion campaign. In the images, a young bride, dressed in extravagant attire, pulled a cart replete with goods.
