Two people injured in two-car collision

Police and other emergency services responded to a two-car crash in eastern Southland on Wednesday. (File Photo)
Two cars collided at Menzies Ferry in eastern Southland on Wednesday afternoon.
A St John spokesperson said two people with moderate injuries were likely to be taken to Southland Hospital in Invercargill. A rescue helicopter from Dunedin was not required.
Emergencies services were alerted to the crash on Island Edendale Rd at 4.15pm.
