TWIF to host Taverns of the American Revolution program

The Wayside Inn Foundation recently announced it will host a new online program called Taverns of the American Revolution at 7 p.m. Feb. 2 via Zoom.
The event is an author’s discussion, cocktail demonstration and virtual east coast road trip to the surviving taverns of the 13 original colonies.
Adrian Covert, author of "Taverns of the American Revolution: The Battles, Booze, and Barrooms of the Revolutionary War," will present his research that led to the creation of this book about the early tavern buildings that played an "important role in shaping the American Revolution" and that can still be visited today, including Longfellow’s Wayside Inn.
