Treasure hunters are a step closer to finding the Amber Room

Hunters found the secret network of tunnels thought to hold the long-lost Amber Room at Mamerki 
Museum
Uncovered five entrances leading to the underground corridors, the largest discovery ever made at the site
Hunters are also looking at the wreck of the Karlsruhe as the possible resting place of the legendary treasure
Polish divers found the wreck of the Karlsruhe in September, 75 years after it sank off the Polish coast in 1945 
Amber Room of golden panels made from six tonnes of amber was built for Tsar Peter the Great in the 1700s 
It was ransacked by the Nazis during Hitler's ill-fated invasion of the Soviet Union during WII and lost forever
