According to portsmouth police, officers in chesapeake contacted them to assist them in the highspeed chase on George Washington highway just before 1230. Police confirm to us the chase ended in portsmouth, when officers lost the suspect. Chesapeake dispatch could not tell us where the chase started nor where it ended. Marshal service is warning virginia residents about a National Phone scam where individuals are claiming to be Law Enforcement officials collecting fines for failing to report for jury duty. One man died saturday in ocean view. Three other victims are in the hopsital with lifethreatening injuries. Police say they found robert kinght, the third, in the drivers seat of a white minivan. Someone shot knight several times. Paramedics rushed him to the hospital where he died.
