There has been an arrest in that awful murder and dismemberment of a man in laurel. Right now Prince Georges County investigators are searching the apartment in the arbor point complex where they believe the murder occurred after a fight between roommates. The dismembered body of 28year old Jacinto Perez was found dumped in four plastic bags on the ground and in dumpsters at the complex early sunday. Today police announced the arrest of a suspect, santos mejiayanes. All three men were roommates. Speculating now it had at least in part to do with money. Police are searching for another man named bayron cruz vargas who may have fled the area. Fannie mae plans to sell its headquarters on wisconsin avenue in northwest d. C. As part of a larger effort to consolidate all five fannie mae offices in the d. C. Region. The company would move into a Single Office building that it would lease sometime in 2016 or 2017. Thats why the retive humidity is so low and a little breeze out of the north. It got a little gusty from time to time today, but thats great because its letting in that cooler drier air from the north. Thats going to lead to a great night to open up the windows and let in that fresh air. As we head into friday, its going to be almost an exact repeat performance of today, sunny and beautiful again, but heat and humidity return for the weekend. Well have to look for the threat of thunderstorms especially on sunday and monday. Right now its down to 81 in frederick, 77 in gaithersburg. That feels nice and refreshing, 82 in manassas and martinsburg and 84 now in luray. On satellite and radar you can see a few clouds off to the west of us, but overall the pattern is very dry. Hurricane cristobal is well out to sea. You can barely see any of the clouds from that system on satellite and radar as well. So that dry air is dominating because of High Pressure centered north of us. It will drift off to the south and east in the next 24 hours. What will happen with that, it will turn the winds to a more southeasterly direction and allow heat and humidity to start to come back along way warm front friday. By the time you wake up saturday morning just partly cloudy, but you will notice a little bit of an increase in the heat and humidity as we head into the later morning. Saturday afternoon thunderstorms firing up north and west of the beltway. We cant rule out a quick stray storm saturday. Sunday looks more active. You can see the front really starting to push in and more cloud cover arriving as well. Its going to stay hot and humid. So those elements all combine for the potential for some thunderstorms on sunday, but overnight tonight no rain in the forecast, clear and beautiful with lows between 56 in the suburbs and 65 downtown. As we head into friday morning, its going to be great, lots of sunshine, temperatures in the 60s and 70s. By afternoon high temperatures will be in the mid80s under mostly sunny skies. Those winds start to become more southeasterly tomorrow afternoon, but the threat for thunderstorms doesnt arrive until saturday afternoon and even then its mostly west of the beltway.
