We dont know the last time the kids attended classes but we can tell you School Officials visited the Princess Anne home twice. The family was about to file a missing persons report about their loved ones when police discovered the bodies insides the home that they say had no electricity and a generator inside. That generator was off and out of gas. The power was off in the house. And they were in different rooms in beds and in sleeping positions. In life he just wanted to do everything that was right. He wanted to set a good example for his children and he did just that. Reporter that is the dads mom. The seven childrens grandmother. Just devastating news for that whole community. Really a smallknit community. The children, five of them attended the same elementary school. Three shootings, two of them deadly in less than four hours. The one survivor showed up at d. C. General hospital before 11 00 last night with a gunshot wound to the andmen. Police dont know abdomen. Police dont know where he was shot. A teenager was shot before 8 00 p. M. It happened along 37 37th street and a man was fate eel shot 30 minutes fatally shot 30 minutes later on congress street. D. C. Police made no arrests in any of the shootings. No word on what caused a deadly fire in northwest washington. An 81yearold died in yesterdays house fire on kenya street in columbia heights. The husband is still hospitalled with serious injuries. Firefighters pulled up with flames shooting out of the second story of the row house. Mopup operations lasted well into the night after a massive fire burned through a building and some of the rescue equipment. This was a massive fire and there were flames shooting from the building. It started at about 5 00 yesterday and the flames went up fast. The winds shifted and that caused those flames to move to the two fire trucks that were parked outside. Those trucks caught fire and destroyed. About 1. 5 million in damage. The trucks delonged to the Kentland Fire Department and West Lanham Hills department. Thankfully no serious injuries n. Is of course something that everyone here this is of course something that everyone here is thankful for. We never lost two fire engines on a building fire. We have lost brush trucks on brushfires and those things before but ive never lost two engines. As the chief in west lanham said, were thankful our folks are okay. We can replace the fire trucks. Reporter absolutely. Good news there that everyone is okay. There was one firefighter that had injuries burn injuries to his leg. Hes expected to be just fine. I will tell you this warehouse was used by a Roofing Company so the materials inside, a propane tank, cars, a lot of Wood Materials served as fuel for the fire and made it grow a lot faster and stronger than it normally would have. Fire crews found themselves in danger last night when the smoke settled their trucks were a smoldering mess. To fire trucks, one from the kentland sol tier Fire Department and volunteer Fire Department and one from the west lanham millions department were a total loss. When detectives knocked down the door of the familys Princess Anne home in maryland, they discovered there was no electricity. The divorced dad worked in the Food Services department at the university of maryland eastern shore. His supervisor called when he didnt show up to work. Even sent coworkers to his home. School officials visited the home twice but it wasnt until relatives called the police that they discovered the bodies. He was such a good man. He was such a good man. When they told me he wasnt going to work, i knew something was wrong. And the kids wasnt going to school. I knew something was wrong. This hurts. This hurts. This hurts me.
