Youre looking at pictures taken of petersons 4yearold son. You can see multiple bruises and cuts on the childs body. The mother took the son to the hospital. Peterson and the mother are not married. The son was visiting peterson when the incident occurred. Petersons lawyer released this statement tonight saying his client is a loving father and used his judgment as a parent to discipline his son. He used the same kind of discipline with his child that he experienced as a child growing up in east texas. Adrian has never hidden from what happened and cooperated fully with authorities. The incident occurred in may in texas, the Washington Post obtaining he texts between peterson and his wife in. Them he said he if the bad after the fact when he noticed the switch was wrapping around and hitting his sons thigh. Now according to Police Reports the child has a slightly different story telling authorities that daddy peterson hit me on my face. He also told police peterson put leaves in his mouth when he was hit with the switch. So its a tough week getting even worse for the nfl.
