I have grown to these fans here in philly and they are behind me now so that makes a difference. Personally i like to play here in front of them. That is why i signed here. So his nonprofit Darren Daulton foundation helped people who were affected by brain tumors and cancer. Just a lot of people are sad this morning. Thinking of the memories. He was the leader of the 93 phillies. That is for sure. Probably wouldnt have been in the world series if it wasnt for him. Reporter it is phone, social meade media, kid are decide to go meet here at Lonnie Young Rec Center yesterday and it happened, again. Kid with no where to go, nothing to do get in the trouble. Lets roll video from last night at Lonnie Young Rec Center when Police Arrived here they were met with large crowd of teenagers. Police got a good look at how big the situation was on the ground for the responding officers. They responded in large numbers. Many carrying batons as they paced the streets to manage the kid cursing at the officers. We are working to confirm reports that there were some arrests made last night when police first got the call around 10 00 p. M. Group of 300 , 400 youngsters were peaceful there were reports of the rocks being thrown at officers. In a short time after that there was a report of a female , rubbing around screaming, bleeding. Traffic was impact. Septa buses had to be rerouted because of the large number of teens who were crowding the streets. It is not first time it happen just three short weeks ago july 16th Police Responded to a similar disturbance call during that incident, though, no arrests or injuries reported but heres the deal. Students still have roughly about a month left in the summer, mike and alex. School does not start until september 5th avenue the labor day holiday. That locker room had scoundrels, creeps, juicers but dutch made that lovable. He would be a guy we would gravitate toward. You are an adult now. You are a kid then. You grew up loving him and having his poster on the wall. Now it is even a shock to you, looking back at your childhood absolutely, 12, 13 years old, looking at this kid, and you are looking at dutch, growing up with him. One of the few athletes in philadelphia where both your dad and your mom knew for different reasons. Everybody in the household was aware of dutch. He was alpha in that clubhouse as anthony said, and he stood out for that reason. He was a hell of a ball player as well. A lot of people now, 15 then, 30 then you recognize what he meant to the city and that is why people have heavy hearts. Reporter he was part of the team here afterward. He had a show here. You guys worked with him. It was Nothing Better to hear dutch talk about baseball he would talk about anything. When he is talking about the sport and so great relating the sport, so knowledgeable, just Nothing Better to sit in the car ride or at homilies toning dutch chat. He had been just diagnosed with brain cancer, and so he was in philadelphia, we had a good time. Even though had just been diagnosed, you can tell more he he seemed to be very optimistic, ready to fight. He did fight it off and in 2015 remission, and then it came back, brain cancer came back. But i remember, we did, we met over at a hotel, may have been the ritz carlton, first thing he asked me do you want a beer then he came in here, what year was that, ryan . What do you think. Sue sent in that picture. I think shes doing a radio hit right now. Yes. That is great 2009. Yes, but it was a fun visit yeah, great. Wow. Road flooding, ponding when we get a downpour and heres the north american model, and the estimate for two and a half most of us will get about an inch by the time all is said and done but stuck under a heavy downpour it could be fast and furious.
