Fire officials tell fox 29 that the body of the the nine twoyear old woman was found in the back bedroom. They say she died of smoke inhalation. Sad story there investigators in south philadelphia said a woman was found murdered inside lees bistro and cafe while restaurant as opened for business. Body of the the 54 yearold victim was discovered in the basement with a knife wound to her neck. Detectives say that there was evidence of a violent struggle, victim is a cook at that restaurant but they have not released her identity, suspect has in the been name. 6 04. Snow is the star of the day and it is all snow in our area. You see rain to the south but Northern Edge of the storm is cold and it has been cold for a couple days, which is why we are seeing snow. We have heavier snow to the the south of us and southern new jersey where it is piling up. It is as mike said, a whimpy storm for us but in bethenny beach and lewis we are seeing steady snowfall, same for wildwood, millville, Atlantic City. Here in philadelphia a few pockets of heavier snow just enough to leave a coating on your car, grass, most of the major roads have been treated so they are just wet and we have seen, over 3 inches of snow in seaford delaware, cape may, new jersey, 2 inches, inch in medford, less than a inch in new castle delaware, philadelphia we have only managed. 3 of a inch of snow so far. Looking at our future cast temperatures stay below freezing through seven or 8 00. We may be seeing some snow but for the city at least and infamous i95 corridor it will be out of here by 9 00 and will continue to snow for a little while at the shore and that will continue until 11 or 12 00 and it will be out of there as well as the storm pulling out to sea. That will be it the for that storm. We will talk about saturday night. Winter weather advisory continues until 9 00 in the city, 1 00 p. M. In cape may and we are expecting higher accumulations down further south because they are closer to the center of the storm. The right now temperatures are all below freezing out there with 31 degrees in philadelphia and we have light winds out of the north east. Security Officials Say gunman stormed a retirement home in the city of aidan killing 16 people, four of those are nuns. No word on hot gunman are or if they have been captured. More on that in just a second. Well, a violent scene inside a cafe bistro in south philadelphia. Woman was found brutally murdered. Detectives say there were signs of the struggle bill she was stab. But was she the chef or cook at the this place, dave. Reporter yeah, shes a cook at this place and it is a very shocking case, a real murder mysteried here at fifth and washington here in south philadelphia at a chinese and vietnamese restaurant here. Police say lees cafe and bistro was opened for business when a 911 call came in reporting a 54 yearold woman found dead in the kitchen which was actually in the basement. Cops say there appeared to be a major fight between victim who worked as a cook and the attacker, sources say victim was working with another person prepping food for people waiting for people upstairs with the take outline. But on the stop floor second floor you had dining room. So at some point police say someone went downstairs to see what is going on when they made discovery of the body. Police tell us more about what they found at the scene. Obvious signs of the violent struggle because pieces of the equipment, Kitchen Equipment were actually knock over. Piece of the equipment was laying on her body. She had bruises to her face, pretty severe bruces to her face and her throat was sliced, pretty deeply. There was blood. Medics pronounced her dead at the scene at 9 15 p. M. Investigators tell thaws five customers and four workers were inside of the restaurant at the time and 911 call was made. All are being interviewed by detectives. Police do not have a clear motive. I check with homicide detectives and at this point they do not have a clear motive but there are a lot of surveillance cameras along washington street, because this is a heavily traveled Business District so police are hoping video might give them some information as to what happened, and it is horrible, horrible case, back to you mike and alex.
