Exclusive. Then, the Senate Approves two of mr. Trumps cabinet fix, but battles rage over more members of the president team. We intend to have a full and rigorous debate on the president elects remaining nominees. If you look at the questions that are being asked in his confirmation hearings, its not about substance. Chris we will discuss the trump agenda with mitch mcconnell, only on fox news sunday. Plus, we will ask our sunday panel what President Trumps top legislative priority should be in the new congress. From this day forward, its going to be only America First. America first. Chris all right now on fox news sunday. Chris hello again from fox news in washington. Donald trumps inaugural celebration was fairly over 100s of thousands of women took to the streets of washington and cities around the world to protest against the president. Meanwhile, mr. Trump went to the cia to repair a rift with the Intelligence Community, but also attacked the news media, and attack his press Secretary Sean Spicer continued last night. We will have an interview with new white house chief of staff Reince Priebus, first lets bring in john roberts with a continuing debate over the trump presidency. It was quite an afternoon yesterday. At the new Trump Administration showing that it is quickly going to push back hard against any press reports that are either incorrect or even not to their liking. In his First Official statement from the Briefing Room yesterday, sean spicer ripped the press for a false report that President Trump had removed the bust of mlk from the office, and for reports that the Trump Inauguration appeared smaller than those president obama in 2009. These attempts are shameful and wrong. If there was a theme that has boss had had on earlier, speaking to 400 employees at the cia, despite his repeated statements calling into question the quality of the intelligence. President trump said that any news that there was a rift was hostile media. They try to make it sound like i had a feud with the Intelligence Community, and i just want to let you know, it exactly is the opposite. The fact that he talked about the size of the crowd incensed outgoing cia director john brennan who was deeply saddened and angered at trumps despicable display of selfaggrandizement. Outside the white house, in cities across america, millions of women took to the street to voice their displeasure with President Trump selection of the womens march. I have a daughter, and our feeling is that what we saw an election really demonstrated an attitude towards women that is pervasive and unpleasant, and we really need to show our solidarity against that. A short time ago, President Trump offered his own assessment to the cia, quitting that he had a great meeting at the cia yesterday. Longstanding ovations, amazing people. Win. Chris john roberts reporting from the white house. If we are in out in studio for an exclusive interview by President Trumps white house chief of staff Reince Priebus. Welcome back to fox news sunday. Reince good morning. Chris i want to start with sean spicers extraordinary press briefing yesterday yesterday afternoon where he excoriated reporters for their stories about the relative crowd size at the Trump Inauguration and said they should instead be talking about democratic delays to trump nominees. Thats what you guys should be writing and covering, instead of selling division about tweets and false narratives. The president is committed to unifying our country, and that was the focus of his inaugural address. If this of dishonesty in the media that challenges the bringing of our nation together makes it more difficult. Chris then he walked out without taking a single question from reporters. If President Trump said in his inaugural address said that every decision he makes will be to honor american families. Reince its not about crowd size. Its about honesty in the media. Its about from day one after winning this election, President Trump talking about bringing america together, having a unified American Public around unified ideas, not republican or democrat. Hes ready to get to work. The media, from day one, has been talking about delegitimizing the election. It talking about the russians, everything you can imagine except the fact that we need to move this country forward. We get done with the inauguration, first thing out of the media is that for stomach President Trump removed the bust of Martin Luther king jr. Out of the office. An explosive accusation which could have had incredible ramifications, given the history of the subject matter. It turns out, its completely false. I walked back into the oval office, saw the bus to there, and what did the media say . They set our bad, someone was standing in front of it, we didnt see it. Can you imagine tweeting that President Trump remove the mlk bus thus the first day. Like our three. Then the next day, they put a picture, before the speech actually began, showing all of the blank space. It wasnt true. The New York Times had put a picture in the middle section showing the fact that the entire mall was completely full. The point is not the crowd size, the point is that the attacks and the attempts to delegitimize this president in one day and we are not going to sit around and take it. Sean has been doing press briefings every single day. Press update. His First Official press briefing, the press can ask him a million questions. It will be on monday. Chris you talk about honesty. This was about honesty. But theres another issue here, and that is the president s honesty, because two things that he said yesterday or just flat wrong, and i want to talk about them. First, crowd size. Take a look at these pictures on the monitor. Take a look at those pictures. On the left youve got the obama inaugural crowd. On the right, youve got that from inaugural crowd. Which one is bigger . Reince listen, you are also not saying that that picture was taken before he was even speaking. Chris its a ridiculous conversation, but there were huge areas he said that there were crowds all the way to the washington monument. Reince there was. I was sitting there. Chris look at the picture again. Reince you can keep putting the picture, but i can take a picture an aerial picture right now and i can say look at the difference. You are not comparing apples to apples, it doesnt matter. You can keep telling me what you want to tell me. The point is, instead of talking about the substance of what President Trump actually said chris a News Conference yesterday, talked about the agenda, talked about the signing, the executive actions hes going to sign. His legislation. He talks about crowd size. Reince wait a minute. Lets back up. We didnt tweet out mlk, jr. ,s boss was removed from the oval office. Chris the reporter made a mistake, he apologized. And it sean spicer sent him a tweet back and saying apology accepted. Reince right, so these are the mistakes that are made. A reporter shoots first, ames later. Chris are you saying theres a conspiracy here . Reince im saying theres an obsession by the media to delegitimize this president , and we are not going to sit around and let it happen. We are going to fight back tooth and nail every day, and twice on sunday. Chris it let me talk about another thing. Mr. Trump said that the cia talked of the feud between him and the Intelligence Community was a media invention. It was donald trump, at his News Conference in new york who comparative the leaking of the russia dossier, said it was the Intelligence Community who had done it and it was disgraced, and compared it to germany. That was not a media invention. Reince we dont know who leaked the documents. Chris wait a minute. Thats beside the point. He compared it to germany. Reince it someone leaked the document, and you dont know if it wasnt somebody in the Intelligence Community. One bad actor in the Intelligence Community doesnt change President Trumps field of the entire Intelligence Community. I was there yesterday. Im telling you it was a lovefest if you are in the room. These are men and women that President Trump loves and respects, and the reason he went there first was to tell them i dont want you to believe the media, that i dont respect to all as intelligence officers. Chris its not the media. Its what hes saying. Reince its an obsession. The fact is, we didnt like the document. That russian document you dont know that they didnt. Chris i know, but the point is it was mr. Trump who compared it to nazi germany. Reince if you have confidential topsecret information being leaked to the public its something thats pretty rotten. Chris okay. Reince the other thing i would say is that that obsession over what he said in front of the Memorial Wall, but hes trying to explain to the folks these are people who, after we get on with these meetings, it was very clear to the president that they wanted to do their job. They were already two, but something is holding them back. Chris what you think of john brennan and the display . Reince i think that he has a lot of things that he should answer for in regards to these leaked documents. I find the whole thing despicable, i think that its unprofessional, perhaps he is better. He was replaced the day before. He was not asked to hold over. I dont know whats in his head, but what i do know is that the president wanted to make it clear for the folks in that room, and i want to make it clear for everyone why we talked about the things we talked abou about, the mlk bust, the attack on the crowd size instead of the substance of what i was talking about, dont believe it. I love you, and im going to work with you and we will be a great team. Chris lets move forward. Hundreds of thousands of people, mostly women, marked marched on washington yesterday. A platform of hate and division. That is not america. Do not try to divide us. If you force muslims to register, we will all register as muslims. Chris President Trumps tweet, or twitter, was alive and awake at 7 47 this morning. He was under the impression that we just had an election. Why didnt these people vote . Celebs hurt the cause badly. So many people, maybe a Million People expressed real concern that he will rollback womens rights. First of all, i can tell you that he wants to be president for all people, including every one of those marchers yesterday, and i think over time, many of those people will be proud of this president. Secondly, its no different of what happened right after the election. The same marchers that showed up on fifth avenue in manhattan. The last thing is in regard to some of these folks in hollywood and elsewhere. Some of the things that were said, i will not give the person any credit, but one of the actors one of the singers so she wanted to blow up white house. Can you imagine saying that about president obama . It chris it was terrible. Reince this person doesnt represent america . He sure does. If the American People are looking for someone who was going to be their voice and the white house. Not another predictable politician. Thats what President Trump is there, because people wanted someone genuine, it was going to a difference. This town isnt used to reality. Chris lets turn to what is actually going to be doing. Monday is his first full day of work, although he has already done quite a lot already. If do you know what executive actions he will sign tomorrow and this week, and specifically, and is he going to undo the obama action to defer deportation . Retail they will work with house and Senate Leadership as well. They will get a longterm solution on that issue. Are not going to make any commitments. Foreshadowing there a little bi bit. We will talk about trade this week, we will talk about that a little bit more tomorrow. We will have a time of national security, conversation about that, with general matus. I think you will see more of that coming, perhaps this week. Executive orders. Thursday, we are expecting to make an appearance at the Senate House Leadership conference in philadelphia, so it will be a full week. This president is going to work hard. Ive never seen anyone work harder and have more energy than this president. Chris President Trump also has an extraordinarily ambitious legislative agenda. I want to list some of it off. Obamacare, the tax reform, building a wall, infrastructure. Curious, because one of the things that the president made clear in his inaugural address was that he was going to take the hide off the washington establishment. Heres a quote. Their victories have not been your victories. Their triumphs have not been your triumphs, and while they celebrated in our nations capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land. Chris with those folks on the platform are exactly the people he needs congressional leaders to pass his agenda, so how he is going to work with folks if he is just accused of having celebrated having done well for themselves but for getting americans . Reince especially the majority in the house on the senate feel the same way. They cant get their agenda done. Look at what is happening with our cabinet. You have people that we need for the security of this country that are sitting around languishing in the senate because we cant get unanimous consent. There have been to cope cabinet picks that have been sent through. Its a shameful situation that is happening in the senate and senator schumer should do something about it. Chris we talked about the establishment in d. C. That has talked forgot about americans. Is he talking about democrats . Reince is talking about a number of people that block real things from getting done. Its not going to be that way anymore because we have a majority in the house and the senate. Reconciliation. We can get a lot of things done on repealing and replacing obamacare. Tom price and the secretary of health and human services. We are working with paul ryan and leadership and the team that President Trump has put together, its given us a formula to get big things done in this country. Chris give us a little color. How is President Trump adjusting to the white house . What were his personal moments like in the oval office . Reince i think its pretty inspiring. When he walked in, its something thats enormous, and the weight of that enormity was felt by him. He still the same person, remarkably consistent. But i certainly think the feeling of being president , walking in that oval office was something that him, obviously, but everyone, walk through their felt. If responsibility to this country and the people that put him there. He knows it, and its in his heart, and i can promise he wants to make people proud. Chris thank you. Thank you for your time on this very busy week. We will be busy trying to keep up with all that you are doing at the white house. Reince thank you. It chris thank you. Up next we will sit down with senator Majority Leader Mitch Mcconnell to discuss the attacks on the washington establishment. Plus, the delay in confirming most of the trump cabinet picks. Chris a live look at the capitol dome after the inauguration of donald trump as our nations 45th president. Joining us now to discuss just how much of the agenda mr. Trump will be able to get through Congress SenateMajority Leader Mitch Mcconnell, senator, welcome back to fox news sunday. Mitch glad to be with you. Chris i want to start with a central theme of the trump address. Here it is. Washington flourished, but the people did not share in this wealth. Politicians prospered, but the jobs left in the factories closed. The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Chris senator, hes talking about you. Personally, let me finish, washington leaders who said he has done well here but have ignored millions of americans. How do you work with a president who seems to have such little regard and some animosity to the washington establishment . Mitch lets look at the election. The socalled establishment in the congress did very well. We held the house, called the senate. Republicans had a very good day, and after eight years of of barack obama, there are more republicans at every level of government at any time since the 1920s, so i believe the president is talking about the outgoing Obama Administration. You have to have a president who will bills that you pass. The only way to change the country would to get it president who would sign the bills passed by the Republican Congress that the American People continued in last novembers election. Chris i discussed the trump agenda with Reince Priebus. Have you decided in what order you are going to take things in the senate, and given how extraordinarily broad and ambitious this agenda is, are you worried at all about overloading the circuits . Mitch we have this whole area of responsibility that the house doesnt have. There are so many people who have to be confirmed, so we are starting off after passing the obama carol repeal revolution, which we did before President Trump took office, trying to get his cabinet nominations in place, and subsequently we will have a Supreme Court nomination as well. Its the senates activity. The broader legislative agenda, we have an actual chance of achieving of repealing and replacing obamacare. He implemented a lot of obamacare himself, so trump will be able to undo a lot of it himself. We also be able to expect comprehensive tax reform. That will start later this year. Almost all of what the president is emphasizing we will be able to do. Chris lets talk about obamacare, because President Trump wants to repeal and replace at the same time. One, is that possible given the fact that repealing is a lot easier than replacing, and two, as you sit here today as the Senate Majority leader, do you know with republican replacement plan is . Mitch we are working in connection with the administration. To have an orderly process of repealing obamacare and replacing it. Let me talk a minute about the status quo. What did bill clinton say about obamacare last year . He said its the craziest thing youve ever seen. 8 out of 10 americans want to replace or dramatically change. Even if Hillary Clinton had won the election, we would be revisiting obamacare. Status quo is not an option. In conjunction with the administration we will repeal and replace it. We will also be at the state level to take care of people at the state level who have preexisting conditions. We want to have Health Care Programs that work for them. Chris lets turn to the confirmation. The senate has approved only two nominees so far. Without them up on the screen, general james mattis, john kelly for homeland security. We will get to what the democrats are trying to do to slow that down in a moment, but as you sit here today, do you know as the Senate Majority leader that you have the votes to pass all the other trump nominees . Mitch im confident we will, yes. Whats been unfortunate is that all i asked for of my colleagues was to treat President Trump as we treated president obama. He got seven of them on the first day. We got to go. They even delayed the cia. Delay the cia, for some inexplicable reason. Chris i will get to Chuck Schumer in a second, but do you believe you have the votes to confirm all them once you get into an actual vote . Mitch i believe we will be able to confirm the entire cabinet. Chris even Rex Tillerson for state, with three republicans have expressed reservations about . Mitch im optimistic about every member of the cabinet. Chris lets talk about senator schumer, because he says that he has concerns about eight nominees, and he says he believes that there needs to be more discussion about them, about ethics questions or their qualifications. Here he is. The president elects cabinet is a swamp cabinet full of billionaires and bankers that have conflicts of interest and ethical lapses as far as the eye can see. Chris whats wrong with this . Mitch outrage. The outgoing treasury secretary and an account that came in our. The treasury secretary before him failed to pay taxes. At that point, schumer said its just a mistake. Everybody makes mistakes. This kind of selective outrage against the mistake that people inherently make, why senator schumer would even complain about not having enough seats in the hearing room. These are all manufactured reasons to slow down the process, because they dont want this administration to be treated like other administrations, and given the opportunity to get up and get started. It chris up a you guilty of some selective outrage back in 2009 . Former Senate Majority leader, we learned that he failed to pay back taxes through a car and driver. There was a big fuss about that. Here is you here you are in 2009. It does raise some questions about the vetting process, this is now the second time we had a similar incident, first with the nominee for secretary of the treasury, and now with senator senator dasholm. I think the administration to take a look at his vetting process. Chris whats the difference between you upset about him and the difference between the congressman was been named the budget director who has learned we have learned he hasnt paid taxes on his house. We do the administration, in the end, decided not to go forward with that. We dont know if that would have been a decisive mistake or not. Chris my point is, you made a fuss in 2009 that they are making a fuss about some people today. It mitch you can complain about whatever you choose to, ultimately though, the administration decides what is submitted and members of congress decide that if these kinds of mistakes that people make from time to time are decisive in determining how theyre going to vote. Chris finally, President Trump says he wants to name a Supreme Court nominee. Hes talked about doing it within two weeks, and senator schumer has said that i am going to block anyone that they dont like. That they feel is outside the mainstream. I senate rules now stand, because the Nuclear Option was extended on a partial level in 2013 by the democrats. You can confirm Lower Court Judges with just 51 votes, simple majority, not a supermajority of 60 votes. If the democrats blocked a Supreme Court nominee, are you going to extend the Nuclear Option to the Supreme Court nominees . Mitch im confident we will get Supreme Court nominees confirmed. I expect an outstanding nominee sometime soon. I think its no way to look at how the republican minority handled bill clinton in his first administration. No filibuster, obama and his first term, to go, no filibuste filibuster. We think our nominee ought to be treated the same way. If he is not treated that way, then under the Current Senate rules we would have to get 60 votes. We had to do that when the democrats blocked Justice Alito years ago. I think the short answer is the nominee will be confirmed. The one would you consider extending the Nuclear Option . Mitch the nominee will be confirmed. Chris one thing i learned with you, senator mcconnell, once youve given an answer thank you. Thanks for coming in today. Busy times ahead, sir. Mitch thanks. Chris up ahead we will look at our sunday group to discuss how much of President Trumps inaugural speech he will be able to pull off. Plus, what do you want to ask the panel about what mr. Trumps top legislative priority should be . Just go to facebook or twitter, foxnewssunday, and we may use your question on the air. Chris coming up on fox news sunday, President Trump strikes a populist tone in his inaugural address. It at this moment is your moment, it belongs to you. Chris we will ask our sunday panel at what it us about how mr. By peggy lee playing ] [ goat bleat ] [ crow caws, music continues ] this is gonna be awesome when it comes to buying a house. Trulia knows the house is only half of it. And with 34 map overlays like playgrounds, demographics, schools, and more. You can find the right house and the right neighborhood for you. Trulia. The house is only half of it. Every decision on trade, on taxes, on immigration, on Foreign Affairs will be made to benefit American Workers and american families. Chris resident trump laying out his vision for America First in his inaugural address. Its time now for our sunday group, the anger of special report, bret baier, author of the new book three days in january already on best sellers list, juan williams, mo elleithee, executive director of georgetown universitys institute of politics and public service, and from the wall street journal, kimberely strassel. Theres a great deal of analysis of President Trumps inaugural address and what it says about how he will govern. Did you see a blueprint for his administration and what he laid out on friday on the west front of the capital . It was a very trump speech. People called it dark, but i think it was actually a speech for our time. The American Public right now it does not to have a president who has fancy language and rhetoric. A lot of them are feeling forgotten. Basically the few words he said will be about you. He suggests that hes going to be very attuned to public sentiment. Chris and problem solving. And problem solving. Dont estimate the amount of lowhanging fruit that there is there. Just with his cabinet picks alone, the amount that he has done on day one, in terms of regulations. Chris juan, you were critical of the speech, but in the speech, since friday when we all listen to it together, he talked about schools, restoring the inner cities, a new jobs push, safety and our streets. Whats wrong with that . Nothing. In fact, i would applaud it, because i think im so glad that he raised these important issues and that childhood advancement in the inner cities they look up at the same night sky. The problem is that he exaggerated, american carnage in what he called inner cities. I suppose hes calling black areas of our metropolitan areas. Its an exaggeration. Its not reality. It sounds to me almost like mad max and the thunderdome. Chris speaking of exaggerating. Unemployment is at 4. 7 . I think its the lowest since 08. We can have a discussion and its necessary about improving schools in particular about lack of economic opportunities, safety in the streets. But thats a specific problem. It sounds as if you are demeaning the whole group of people in order to present yourself as a savior, and also in terms of what he said during the campaign. What do black people have to lose . Why dont you vote for me. Chris we got this on twitter. What clashes do you see from his prior ability to make his own decisions versus now, given the coequal branch of government . How do you answer that, especially given, i talked about this with both Reince Priebus and mitch mcconnell, given how we went after the washington establishment in that speech . He is a dealbreaker, but it was a popular speech. It wasnt reagan, it wasnt looking back at different speeches before, it was donald trump. It was about laying it out. It was a campaigntype speech, but it was what they wanted. That is what donald trump and Stephen Bannon wanted. They want a total change in washington. They say both parties are working in the message to the establishment is this is a new deal. This is how we are going to run this place, and in order to get from point a to point b, we are going to have to break some china. Chris it they said they are worried about themselves and ignoring americas problems. You could make that case, but thats been the case for many years. Chris how does he deal with it . He has to deal with saying i have the popular sentiment behind me. Thats what the populace part comes in. This is why he is elected, and he was elected, to change washington. We went i want to play another clip from the inaugural address. Here it is. Today we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another, or from one party to another, but we are transferring power from washington, d. C. , and giving it back to you, the people. Chris a liberal democrat could have said that as you would have applauded it. Even Bernie Sanders could have said that, so whats the catch . Barack obama in 2008, we are the change weve been waiting for. Its not a very unique or original thought. Chris thats not the point. Whats wrong with it . I give him a lot of credit for a couple of reasons. Hes very consistent. This was the message that got him here, and it was targeted to the same people who voted for him, but that wasnt a majority of the country. Im not saying he was elected president. He was elected president of United States, but a majority of the American People did not vote for him, and i heard very little in that speech that would actually appeal to those people. This was a very good, very trump speech for a narrow narrow is not the right word, but a specific audience. His supporters. Will he begin to appeal and bring more people in . s entrance to the office has been the lowest of any president ever in the history of the office . He played to his supporters very well. Heres the thing. While the majority people may have knotted voted with the popular vote, but its widespread across the country, incredible discussed with washington. Chris if i may, a tremendous economic dislocation, people are being left behind. Exactly. He was speaking to more than just who voted for him, because that is a unifying thing out there. If you talk to the trump people, congressional republicans, what they are banking on is that you come in and do get some things done immediately, things that people can see, and that is what is going to end up leading people into it, more than unity in his speech. Chris we have to take a break, but when we come back, President Trump visits the cia and says any top of a feud is a media invention. We will discuss his relationship with the Intelligence Community and the press when we come right back. Im just a guy who wants to buy that truck. And im just a guy who wants to sell him that truck. So i used truecar. It told me what other people in the area paid for the truck i want. And because were a truecar certified dealership, i already know the truck he wants. So were on the same page before he even gets here. Its fair. And its fast. Look good . Looks great. This is how car buying was always meant to be. This is truecar. I get up this morning, i turn on one of the networks and they show an empty field. I looked out, the field was, it looked like a million, 1. 5 Million People. They showed a field where there was practically nobody standing. Chris president from complaining about reports of the size of the crowd at his inauguration while speaking at the cia in front of the memorial to officers who died while serving our country. We are back now with the panel. Bret, we both covered the white house for years, when White House Press secretaries call special briefings, especially late in the afternoon on saturday, its a big deal. Its a big personnel announcement, its a big policy announcement. In your years covering, not in mine, have you ever seen a White House Press secretary coming in to excoriate the price for the reports on crowd size . No, yesterday we were preparing for some big announcement on policy or something, but then it was this message from sean spicer. One thing is clear, if anybody doubts that he speaking on his own, and not on behalf of the president of the United States, thats not true. Hes clearly was told to get out there and do this, because after the remarks by President Trump early on. I think it was unusual, it was very different, i talk to people in the Briefing Room, they were shocked. The people at home, they said the supporters, this is exactly what we want. Forget it. Break the china. This is the completion of the takeover of the republican party, and its a hostile takeover because people want willingly. Because of the actions of the Obama Administration and republicans, and part of that is dealing with the press, as shocking as washington is going to have to come to grips with, but i will tell you, it was shocking. Chris i was going to say, i wish there had been a reverse shot showing reporters in the briefing, because my guess is their jaws would have dropped. One dumb xp 24, you are also a reporter, what did you think . I think he was sent out there much of the weight that he was sent out to deal with election allegations in new york. When i think back to press secretaries, ive never seen anything like it. Just being straight with you, it suggested to me the question, whered you go from here . If that was the opening bid, if thats the way you feel, if the president is calling the press a bunch of dishonest human beings, if spicer is sent out to performing that matter, i suspect this is about legitimac legitimacy. They are very fearful and uptight about that, being delegitimized from day one. Chris we heard that from Reince Priebus. But i think that this is so outofthebox that it adds the question about president ial behavior. Are they acting like a white house that wed seen before . Its unique, its different, they are breaking the china, fine, but there also hurting their standing, not only with a price, but with the American People. Chris if theres another aspect to what happened yesterday that to me is even more troubling, that is the president said several things that just werent true. First of all, at the cia, he said that all the reports of his rift with the Intelligence Community were a media invention, as i discussed with Reince Priebus. He was the one who said it was disgraceful with the Intelligence Community did and compared it to nazi and then sean spicer, he said that this was the biggest audience ever to attend and inauguration. Its also not true. The president of the United States yesterday stood on Hallowed Ground in front of a Memorial Wall of fallen cia officers, and he looked at the American People and he lied. He lied more than once, he lied about something of substance, his relationship with the cia, and he lied about the most trivial of things he possibly could lie about, crowd sizes at his inaugural. We talked about the spicer pieces, even more troubling than that, they shut down the National Park service is in communication, their twitter, because the National Park service tweeted out the crowd size estimates. They should be of concern to everybody, not just to the press, but to everybody. If people already are feeling a lack of trust in our government, this is not going to make it better. This is politics in the twitter area. On day one, on the first full day, they should worry everybod everybody. Chris is that overthetop . Heres what you have to understand. Yes, people lack trust in institutions, and one of the major institutions they lack trust in is the media. If the president isnt going to stop this. He feels that theres no downside to this. This is a timehonored tradition, especially among republican president s, to talk about the media as a follow. The media did it to their own benefit running up to the election. Im not saying everybody around this table accepted obviously. All of the predictions, all of the stomach coverage of daytoday promotions and Hillary Clinton. Donald trump believes that if he goes to war with the media, who better than to feud with them in the media chris do you really think he pays no price for what went on yesterday . I dont know. Again, you have to believe that the American Public has more trust in the media than they do in the new president , and im not sure thats a fair cutback. In the campaign, towards the end, here comes the pivot, heres the pipit where he turns more president ial. He went to the teleprompter at the end, and tickets to be president elect. Sometimes president ial is going to look different. Im going to do president ial different. If people are looking for to be different, i dont think its going to happen. The one issue is that when he goes on the wrist, words do matter. Eisenhower is that less is more back in his day from the oval office. Its not just the u. S. , but there are countries around the world were analyzing every word and what they mean. Chris and juan, i wonder if President Trump i think that he thinks because he won that he didnt pay any price during the campaign. You look back at the moment when he got in a fight with a gold star family, he did pay a price. Yes, he did end up winning the election in the end, some would say because Hillary Clinton was a bad candidate, but you cant defy the laws of political gravity forever. Dont know and whats intriguing to me is, traditionally, inaugural speech is a really unifying effort by the victors saying come together, america. I am your president , i am your leader.
