Twelve victims every violence, five of them dead, all in just 12 hours. The latest in a live report. A community in pennsauken coming together after a two alarm fire rips through a church. Following breaking news, extremely violent day in philadelphia leaves multiple people dead. There have been at least 12 victims of violence in less than 12 hours across the city. You can see here, the incident on this map and the time stamps of when each of them happened. Steve keeley now live at Police Headquarters with the latest on all of the investigations. Steve . Reporter yes, when you viewers get that map, you can see there is day of violence truely was all over the map to use that expression, and boy, it was all over the daytime, as well. Many of these incidents happened in the daylight. Then we had an awful end to the day, with somebody getting shot, or somebody getting killed, in the hours of 5 00, 6 00, 7 00, 8 00, 9 00, 10 00 and 11 00. How about that . We hit maybe one of the last days of 90 agree temperatures in the summer you can bet that the over worked philadelphia homicide squad is hoping that weve hit our high an in violence as well for the summer of 2016 that everybody would like to see g look at the video. The likely target but also as weve seen, in previous cases, an innocent victim, this pregnant woman shot in the head and stomach, putting both she and her unborns lives in jeopardy. And when heard it i ran, i was setting on my chair and i ran in my kitchen. You new right away . I knew, yes. And i heard people going up the street screaming. And so, as homicide detectives are on the scene at thayer, just minutes after they they arrive, they get the call that among the other daytime video that we have, a man and woman found both stabbed to death here on the quaint now in the philadelphia street elmore road and pictured within the same hour of thayer streets violence, so, what an awful day, and how much more worse could it be if the doctors do not save this young woman, and her unborn child . Such a sick case, that one, steve, thank you. In pennsauken new jersey fire starts in a church that has been in that community for almost a decade now. It may not really look like it from the outside as i step out of the way here, but this was, in fact, a two alarm fire on river road here. That completely gutted, well it, a lot of damage on the inside of this church fire Officials Say, than is bailed on the 7500 block of river road in pennsauken, at first, firefighters had some trouble getting to the fire were told, at the temple of praise ministries, were told the fire started little after 11 40 last night, in the basement, which also serves as the dining area, and place for storage. No one was in the building at the time of the fire. Thankfully. Fire Officials Say no one was hurt. But still the church has been around for nine years, and though it had a handful of members in the congregation, the pastors family says the church is more than bricks and mortar. They end court err fire conditions of the basement of the church used asomugha em bridge area, quite a few fire conditions down there, amongst the contents, staple, chairs, that prohibited some of their operations. Due to the manpower needs, we transmit add second alarm, large open floor spaces, wood frame construction, and we had some extention to the first floor of the church, very minimal. And smoke traveled throughout the building so woe needed quite a few hands to get the fire under control and get the smoke evacuated. Church fire, just know that this fire is not going to stop us. Standoff in montgomery county, man in Police Custody after officers including a swat team negotiated for eight hours to get them safely out of his home. The 54 year old was taken in for Mental Health evaluation, just before 11 00 last night. Friend of the man called and asked officers to check on him as his home. This is on the 100 block of bartlett court. Man totally had been drinking and was in a crisis over personal issue. He also had guns in the house and wasnt answer answering knocks to the door or phonecalls, nearby neighbors were really concerned. I think the concern is that hes okay. Hes going to be healthy and taken care ofment sound like eggs under distress. So nearby schools in the franconia township area were also on lockdown, and part of the neighborhood was evaculated as police tried to make contact with the man. Notice thayer street. Thats one of the worse even though one of the locations where no one was killed at least not yet. But three critically wounded. So being look at the middle of the day, the lunch hour, 12 35 to be precise. And somebody want to kill somebody, right in the middle of the day, as kids are on a bicycle, as a woman is sitting on the other side after window, where you will see a bullet hole, in the window sill, and weve seen bullets coming through houses and windows before killing people. So, she is among the lucky ones. Among the unlucky, a mother to be. Pregnant on the street, shot in the stomach, putting her unborns life in jeopardy. At last report from police, she was critical. Shot here. I heard about six, seven shots. I was sitting on my chair. It went through the wood if it went through. It could have hit you . It could have hit me. My chair is right here. I see a lot, i see a lot of shooting and everything around here. I stay in, four grandchildren living here, and i cant let them out. How sad is that . She got grandkids over there. On the summer day, she cant let them play outside. And it sounds like she made the right move. Because you see, one bicycle on the street where a kid was outside. That kid probably lucky that none of the bullets found him like sadly they have in so many other cases with so many other kids in this super violent summer of 2016. The violence continued until the day ended essentially, at 5 00, 6 00, 7 00, 8 00, 9 00, 10 00, hour, the latest murder 10 00 oclock in south philly snyder avenue. What an awful day. And heres the good part i guess i can say to you, as that since midnight, on this day, no one has been shot so far. As we hit the 6 00 hour. Yes, at 5 36 in the morning. Crews called to the temple appraise ministry located along the 7500 block of river road. When firefighters arrived, they learned the flames started in the basement, the fire grew to two alarm causing smoke to spread to the sanctuary. Even though is unfortunate, he believes the congregation will get through this difficult time. It was very disheartening. We know that the church is not the actual building, it is the people, so the church can be rebuilt. You know, but, were just going to keep them in prayer. And rebuild from here. Just know that this fire is not going to stop us. They got that fire out in about an hour, thankfully, no one was inside at the time.
