It the is all part of the new program that they use as hoops to help bring officers and kid in their communities together. This all started eight years ago when officer anthony lee, played basketball with a local kid. It became a tradition with the now high school sophomore, but recently, their competitions got officer lee thinking. A couple months ago i found kid just sitting around idol and i said if i had a football, basketball, soccer ball i could get out and initiate that playing time with them. Varsity sports owner is a long time friend of officer lee and he quickly jumped on board. Police department was given 160 balls.
